Shipping Container Hotel at One-North Reviews

This container hotel is located in a tech park. It's not a hotel in the traditional sense as you won't see any staff; everything is self-service, which offers a unique and liberating experience. Inside, all the furniture and amenities are from IKEA, including dishes, cups, a wok, and a small pot for simple cooking. The bathroom has a bathtub, but showering can be a bit awkward as you have to hold the showerhead yourself. You can contact customer service via WeChat, but since it's not the primary communication method here, replies can be slow. It's best to ask any questions well in advance. I stayed for two nights and was told that only towel changes were available; a full room cleaning would only happen after check-out. Since I brought my own towel, I didn't use that service. The park is quiet, but the container is close to the road, so there's some noise. On top of that, there was a 'clanking' sound inside the room at night; I didn't sleep well the first night, but I was so tired the second night that I just ignored it. If you're looking for a novel experience and don't set your expectations too high, it's alright.

A bit wierd..2 rooms are seperated..so had to get out of main unit to go into the other room..thus the other room doesnt have easy access to the toilet

Something different from the usual hotels. It was a fun staycation living in a container turned hotel. Very well equipped kitchen with cooking needs like pots, sauces, oil, plates & utensils. We could cook our own meals and enjoy it at the outdoor balcony. The place was so nice & breezy in the evenings, it was so lovely. Surprised that fairy lights were installed so it added to the nice feel at night. My boys loved the basketball court just outside and the stay even provided a basketball! Loads of amenities just opposite at Fusionopolis, restaurants, cafes, food court, supermarket & 7-11. Timbre is also just a stone's throw away. Such a fun and different experience!

Had a great one night stay there, dont feel like a campsite at all and it was so comfortable.

Would definitely come again! Awesome for gatherings!
