The location of Value Hotel Balestier is quite nice and convenient, with easy access to nearby food places and transportation. However, the main downside of my stay was the restroom. It was noticeably smelly and had a strong unpleasant odor, similar to sewage or poop, which made using the bathroom uncomfortable. While the location is a plus, the cleanliness and smell of the restroom really need improvement.

Love the location and the parking, discrete. Just that there isn't much amenities. But as said the location is good and quiet, don't have the hustle bustle of the city area. Housekeeping response is always within reach.

Very convenient. There’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel which will take you to Newton MRT or straight to Orchard Rd. Lots of eateries and convenience store nearby.
