This hotel is an excellent choice if you are trying to do Singapore on a budget - the location is ideal, and the prices are very low. The beds were clean and comfortable and we knew before we arrived how small the room would be. I wasn’t surprised that the hotel did not change towels unless asked, as this is standard, but I was surprised they did not clean at all. We were there for four nights and our trash was never emptied nor our tiny square of flooring vacuumed. With five people in such a tiny space, it would have taken about five minutes for housekeeping to freshen up and it would have made a big difference.
Overall I think the other reviews recommending this place for a one or two night stay are spot on. Longer than that involves lugging larger suitcases up three flights of stairs and genuinely not being able to all stand in the room at one time. If we had had a sixth traveler there would have literally been no space for our bags - but we were luckily able to use the extra bed.
In summary, it’s a good budget option, but know what you’re booking - also be aware some rooms have no egress or windows.
