Here is a more strongly worded revision of the review: This hostel was an absolute disgrace and the worst accommodation I have ever had the misfortune of staying in. The facilities were completely unacceptable - everything was in a disgusting state of disrepair. Guests were hanging their dirty laundry all over the stairwells, creating an unsanitary and chaotic atmosphere. The rooms were packed with noisy residents, making it impossible to get any rest. It was clear this hostel was being used primarily to house workers, turning it into an overcrowded, industrial-style dormitory that in no way resembled a proper hospitality establishment. The management showed a complete disregard for the comfort and basic needs of their guests. The payment policies were exploitative and unethical. Demanding a $100 USD cash-only security deposit is an unreasonable imposition on travelers. And the sign claiming credit cards were accepted, while charging a 3% surcharge, is blatantly deceptive. To add insult to injury, they had the ******** to charge $10 USD for both early checkout and late checkout. This type of nickel-and-diming is the hallmark of a fraudulent operation concerned only with extracting as much money as possible from guests. I would not recommend this hostel to my worst enemy. It is an absolute disgrace and travesty that such a deplorable establishment is allowed to operate. I will make sure to caution everyone I know against booking here, as it was the most wretched hostel experience imaginable. I will never set foot in this place again even if they paid me.
