Love the yuppie vibe of the hotel , made you feel young again...the hotel is just across the MRT One North exit B and the bus stop too. The room view I had was a forest like with a common sighting of the big and small squirrel passing through...love the silence in the room especially at night you can really have a relaxing deep sleep Oh they have the starbucks DIY booth though I haven't tried. Will definitely come back in this hotel.

I've stayed here twice now and generally had good experiences but I would like to highlight: The positives: - opposite one of the exits of One North MRT, with easy access to a food court, grocery, convenience store. - bedding and towels are clean. Easy access to toiletries if run low - amenities are comfortable for daily life. Hair dryer and water kettle are provided. - kitchen and swimming pool are provided, with ample indoor and outdoor seating areas. - staff are mostly helpful and accommodating, except for one bad experience I will list below. The negatives: - The younger Indian male staff at the desk is quite rude, impatient and unpleasant. Please improve your hospitality and standards on how to treat a guest and accommodate their requests. I was not asking anything outlandish, I just had preferences for my room placement. - The water dispensers on each floor need a cleaning, please. I've stayed here twice, both times on different floors. The outlet where the water dispenses looks crummy with bits of scale or idk what on it. I've drank the water and had no stomach issues though. But regardless, I do think it's a matter of hygiene. - Walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbours easily if they're talking. - The hotel was doing Aircon servicing while I was there. So some rooms/floors wouldn't get Aircon for a good portion of the day. But the Aircon would be up and running again at the evening from 6pm. - I have sometimes noticed a mild watery noise when the Aircon is running.

Overall the very nice and cozy place to stay.  Staff are very nice and friendly too.

For the price point the Lyf hotel had met all my expectations. The hotel only do light cleaning incl change of towel once every 7 days. Having said that the housekeeper offered to change my towels when he met me during his rounds. Cheers to delighting the customers!

Booked 2 rooms for relatives from Malaysia. Great locations as train station is just opposite the hotel. Very chic hotel style with communal area for hotel guests interaction. Staff at reception is very helpful. Opposite hotel, the mall though quite had places like Ya Kun for morning breakfast - local kaya toast and coffee.

room as described, easy access to food and mrt nearby. very safe environment for solo travellers
