We stayed from 4 to 8 October 2026. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful, and I appreciated their excellent service. However, I had a concerning experience with breakfast and difficulties sleeping.
On both 6 and 7 October, I ate stewed vegetables from the breakfast buffet, and the carrots tasted noticeably sour on both mornings. I experienced gastrointestinal discomfort on 6 October. On 7 October, I had repeated diarrhoea, stomach pain, muscle aches, dizziness and weakness in my legs. I had to cut short my work commitments that evening and return to the hotel to take medication and rest. By the morning of 8 October, most symptoms had resolved, although stomach pain remained. I cannot confirm the cause, but I am concerned about a possible connection to the breakfast and hope the hotel investigates.
Our 30-square-metre room had a 1.51-metre-wide double bed, as advertised. Nevertheless, it felt too narrow for two adults to sleep comfortably. There was also a connecting door to the neighbouring room, with poor sound insulation. We could clearly hear conversations next door at night, and I needed earplugs to get some sleep.
While the staff provided excellent service, these issues significantly affected my rest and work during the stay.
