Trip.com Hotel Bad Review | A total disaster across cleanliness, environment, service, and facilities – enter at your own risk!
Cleanliness: Lacking, basic experience completely absent.
The hotel's hygiene barely met general standards. There were no cleaning staff at night, and guests were left to clean their own rooms and common areas. Throughout my stay, I felt there was no basic hygiene service provided; the details clearly showed a perfunctory effort.
Environment: Creepy surroundings and disturbing noise, a terrible living experience.
Despite being in a prime, expensive area of Singapore, the hotel is next to ancient Qing Dynasty tombs and abandoned houses. During the day, the 'Great Compassion Mantra' played continuously, creating a depressing and eerie atmosphere. My room faced a main road, with large trucks and motorcycles passing day and night. The roaring noise was unbearable, and there was absolutely no soundproofing, making it impossible to rest peacefully. There was also a dangerous crossroads nearby, with a pedestrian bridge that led directly to the tombs on the other side, making travel neither safe nor comfortable.
Service: Unattended throughout, zero experience.
There were no staff on duty daily from 6:30 PM to 9:00 AM the next day. Check-in and check-out were entirely self-service, and the interface was cumbersome and complex, wasting a lot of time. The Chinese signs posted in the hotel were all about various fines, with no service instructions or guidance, showing a complete lack of service awareness. When issues arose, there was no one to turn to for help, and I felt no service guarantee whatsoever.
Facilities: Extremely scarce amenities, poor basic provisions.
The hotel had no kitchen, no parking, and no suites, a severe lack of basic amenities. The elevator was extremely slow, and its operation felt unsettling, posing a potential safety hazard. There were only two toilets on the entire floor for dozens of beds, leading to severe queues during peak hours and extreme inconvenience. The air conditioning was set to a very low temperature, and I was woken up multiple times by the cold at night, with no suitable way to adjust it. The basic living facilities completely failed to meet normal needs.
Overall, this hotel hit every red flag across cleanliness, environment, service, and facilities. There was no living experience to speak of. I sincerely do not recommend any fellow Chinese travelers to stay here. Avoid at all costs!
