Pan Pacific Singapore

Compared to other hotels with Marina Bay views, this hotel offered reasonable prices, spacious, and comfortable rooms, which made our stay very satisfying. We had an amazing time, especially thanks to the Pacific Club Lounge benefits, which included a diverse and delicious breakfast, complimentary mini-bar, excellent food, and cocktails. What truly made our experience unforgettable and perfect was the touching service from Elin, a Korean staff member. She was always kind and accommodating, especially when we had some language communication difficulties. She even thoughtfully celebrated our wedding anniversary and helped us capture some wonderful photos.

## Lobby & Public Areas Upon entering the lobby, you're immediately struck by the spaciousness. The high atrium feels airy and open, never oppressive. The overall architecture features strong, clean lines, and the geometric interplays have a distinct deconstructivist feel – great for photos. The front desk layout is efficient, and check-in was quick, with almost no waiting. ## Breakfast The variety is excellent, with Western, Singaporean, Indian, and other Asian stalls. There were also very friendly Chinese-speaking staff. The freshly prepared egg dishes and fresh juices were high quality. The dining area is spacious, so it never felt crowded or noisy. ## Room I stayed in a club room this time, and the space was noticeably larger than hotels in a similar price range. The layout is expansive, not at all cramped, which is a rare find in land-scarce Singapore. The mini-bar, ironing facilities, coffee machine, and tea set were all comprehensive. The bathroom fixtures and amenities felt high-quality, and the oversized bathtub with bath salts was perfect for washing away a full day's travel fatigue. ## Service Overall, the service was professional and understated. From the doorman to housekeeping, everyone was polite and measured in their approach – not overly fawning, but you still felt well-cared for. A special shout-out to the Korean lady at the 38th-floor club; even though she didn't speak Chinese, she communicated meticulously in English with a constant smile, which was both elegant and warm. ## Summary High-end facilities, excellent service – perfect for guests who prioritize quality and spaciousness. I would definitely stay again. ### Complimentary Pacific Club Access: I missed both afternoon tea and happy hour due to being out sightseeing. A reminder to fellow travelers checking in next time: definitely try to experience them!

If you're looking for a high-end hotel in Marina Bay, the Pan Pacific Singapore offers relatively good value for money, especially when compared to the Mandarin Oriental or Ritz-Carlton, which are in a different price bracket. The front desk service was just okay; they only handled the check-in and didn't provide any information about the hotel facilities or breakfast. What they call an 'executive room' isn't quite the same as the typical understanding in my country. It only comes with access to the self-service bar on the 26th floor, offering soft drinks, coffee, some croissants, biscuits, and nuts. To get the full executive lounge experience, you'd probably need to book a club room. You can see Marina Bay Sands and the Merlion in the distance, but right now, the view is mostly of a large construction site.

There's a convenient connecting walkway between the second floor and the convention center, which leads directly to Suntec City Mall. Suntec City is huge, seamlessly connecting business and conferences, with plenty of dining and shopping options. The room was clean and well-prepared, and the breakfast was excellent. My stay was fantastic. The air conditioning was a bit noisy though, so I hope that can be improved.

This was my first time bringing my mom to Singapore, and we booked two nights here. It took about 20-25 minutes by taxi from the airport to the hotel. As soon as we stepped out of the car, we felt right at home. The staff at the entrance helped us with our luggage, and a friendly bellhop guided us to the reception for check-in. The whole check-in process was very smooth, and the front desk staff spoke Chinese, which made communication very easy. Our room was on the 29th floor. The hotel has separate elevators for high and low floors. Our high-floor elevator was on the outside of the building, offering great scenic views. The room facilities were all good, especially the bathroom. The shower had excellent water pressure and was very comfortable, and the bathtub was convenient. The faucet even had direct drinking water, which was of good quality. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, including Western, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian, and Singaporean cuisines. All the ingredients were fresh, and I especially loved the fishball noodles and the omelette – truly unforgettable. The pool had two areas, one deep and one shallow, with clean water and a beautiful environment, offering direct views of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. After seeing the pools of other hotels from the scenic elevator, I felt none were as good as this one. The hotel's location is also excellent. You can directly access Suntec City and Marina Square shopping malls from the second floor. Suntec City, in particular, has a ton of great food options, including Song Fa Bak Kut Teh! Getting to the MRT station is also very convenient, and it's just one stop to Gardens by the Bay. I especially want to commend the front desk staff (the one standing inside the door, not the one outside assisting taxi passengers). The first time I took a taxi to the Botanic Gardens, I asked him if my pickup location was correct. He directly called the driver for me and communicated with them to come to the correct spot. Later, I asked him for the shortest way to Song Fa Bak Kut Teh (Google Maps showed a 10-minute walk around a long way), and he told me I could just go up to the second floor. He was patient throughout! It's a pity I forgot his name, but if you could offer him an award, please contact me, and I can confirm who he is. I will definitely come back to Singapore! And I'll stay at this hotel again!

It was a lovely hotel. The hairdryer in the room couldn't be used in the bathroom because the outlet was different, which I found strange. I ended up using it with another outlet. The amenities provided also varied between rooms, and I had to ask for them later, which was puzzling. The lounge service was poor; I was told after check-out that only tea was available for use. Breakfast offered a great variety of delicious international dishes. Unfortunately, while there was miso soup, there was no white rice, which was a shame for a Japanese breakfast option. However, the location was good, and overall, it was a lovely hotel.

The service and facilities were great, and the location was excellent. My only minor complaint is that the room had a slightly musty smell.
