Siloso Beach Resort - Sentosa

This is my first bad review, everyone beware! The facilities are rundown and old, and there are ants crawling everywhere in the room. What's worse, there's no late checkout service. After bringing my child back from Universal Studios, we had to wait for a ride, and they still wanted to charge 150 SGD for a 4 PM checkout. Coming to stay at this hotel, with no service and such a hefty penalty, I'm never coming back!

Excellent service, great environment, and convenient transportation. The swimming pool water quality is good, and it's close to the beach and popular photo spots. The only minor drawback is that you have to take the monorail to VivoCity for better dining options.

We stayed in a rooftop room with a terrace and a fantastic view. Pros: The location is great. The shuttle stop is conveniently named 'Beach Resort', and it's also easy to get to the express station – just a short walk if you don't want to take the shuttle. It's right next to the Skyride, and not far from where you can watch the Wings of Time firework show. We met the owner at breakfast, and he was very welcoming. We had breakfast and dinner once each; they looked simple, but honestly, the taste was quite good. And the pool, no need to say, was excellent! It's also wonderful that the owner employs people with disabilities. Cons: The room, including the bathroom, was very basic, like a guesthouse. There were indeed ants, and we even saw a large mosquito, but we didn't mind too much and managed fine. The reception is on the 8th floor, and the elevators and everything else are very rudimentary. If comfort is your priority, this might not be the place for you. However, the value for money is reasonable.

I genuinely advise everyone against choosing this hotel 🏨, you'll regret it! It's the worst hotel 🏨 I've ever stayed in. The service is practically non-existent, the front desk staff 💁 were very rude, and they couldn't even manage the basic request of two room cards 😌. The front desk area was so hot I thought I'd get heatstroke 🥵, and the check-in efficiency was incredibly slow. The entire reception area only had one wall-mounted AC unit and one fan! And the fan itself was so dirty! Overall, the hygiene conditions were poor; basic cleanliness, which I consider a fundamental hotel standard, was lacking. The facilities are severely aged and clearly unmaintained! The air conditioning system is old and makes a lot of noise, affecting sleep at night 😴. Both the AC and bathroom ventilation fans are heavily stained with grime, showing they haven't been cleaned in years! The issues weren't resolved, and in the end, Ctrip had to give me some compensation! The hotel itself did nothing! I strongly advise everyone to avoid this hotel!

The location is great, right near Siloso Beach on Sentosa. It's about a 10-minute walk from the monorail station. The hotel has its own pool, and the rooms are quite clean. There's also a breakfast buffet on the first floor, which is very convenient.
