Village Hotel Changi by Far East Hospitality

The hotel is great with sea views, a free swimming pool, and it's close to Changi Airport with a free shuttle. Highly recommended!

The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from the international airport, so the location is just average. The rooms have plenty of natural light and the view is decent. The hotel lobby restaurant offers both local and international cuisine. A minor inconvenience is the lack of USB ports, so you'll need to bring your own charging adapter, as the hotel doesn't provide them for loan.

I stayed here for one night as a transit to the airport. It's a 20-minute taxi ride to the airport, costing 23.75 SGD! The hotel can help arrange a taxi pickup. It rained in Singapore that morning, so I didn't get to experience the pool. The hotel was clean and spacious. You can even add an inflatable mattress! The front desk staff spoke fluent Mandarin, so communication was seamless. Remember to ask the front desk for slippers when checking in to avoid making a second trip! Ctrip's booking service is really going downhill; the confirmation stated two 0.9m single beds, but the front desk's information only said 'Superior Room' without specifying the bed count, and they gave me a double room! The hotel also offers airport shuttle service. If you land at T3, wait at parking bay 5 (as shown in picture 3), and at T2, wait at parking bay 8. The information provided by Ctrip only had accurate shuttle times, but other details were not well-completed!

The hotel is well-maintained and focuses on sustainability. However, the much-advertised shuttle service was disappointing. It has limited operating hours, and seats are not guaranteed for guests. The first shuttle leaves the hotel at 8 AM. In the afternoon, there's a two-hour gap with no shuttles starting from 3:30 PM. We ended up having to pay for taxis both ways.

This is one of the better hotels I've stayed at in Singapore. Even though it's very close to the airport, the soundproofing is excellent. As soon as I entered the hotel, the air felt fresh, and the layout was impressive, giving a very cozy vibe.

The room was incredibly spacious and made for great photos with amazing natural light. Right next door is a beach park that's perfect for a leisurely stroll. The hotel's airport transfer service was also very convenient. Many thanks to the staff for their excellent service!
