Village Hotel Katong by Far East Hospitality

The hotel is quite old. As soon as I entered the floor, I was hit with a strong musty smell. Even more outrageous, after we'd been there a while, we noticed the floor was damp and covered in water droplets. When we called the hotel to deal with it, they just told us not to open the door or the windows. But the musty smell in the room wouldn't go away. The air conditioning vent looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, it was full of dust, and the air blowing out also smelled musty. I have allergies, and the next morning I woke up with hives all over my body. The worst part is this hotel wasn't even cheap; it offered absolutely no value for money.

Very satisfied! The room was very spacious, haha. It was also clean, definitely great value for money in Singapore. The beach right next to the hotel is beautiful and not crowded with tourists. In the mornings, you mostly see people jogging. Just a heads-up: you'll need to keep the AC on maximum all day. Because of the tile floor, the ground gets cold, and if you don't have the AC on full blast, a lot of condensation will form on the floor.
