Hotels in Orchard Road, Singapore

I was a bit worried after reading other reviews, but it turned out to be a very nice hotel. The bed was right there as soon as you opened the door. However, since we were out most of the day, we only used the room for sleeping, so the small size wasn't an issue at all. My suitcase was small too, so spreading it out wasn't a problem, but I imagine it might feel cramped for larger individuals or those with big suitcases. There's no partition between the toilet and shower, so if you don't shower carefully, the toilet can get soaked. We didn't mind this at all and actually enjoyed the unique experience. Perhaps the other guests were well-mannered, as we were able to have a quiet stay in our room. You could hear voices when people walked in the hallway and the sound of doors opening, but otherwise, it was very peaceful and we had a relaxing time. The amenities were well-stocked, and we had everything we needed. There was an empty fridge, instant coffee, and tea, and anything we used was replenished. There's also a convenience store nearby and Isetan is close, so finding food wasn't a problem. Check-in and check-out are done via machines, but when we seemed confused, a staff member came over and helped us. The staff were also very kind when they held our luggage for us. I'm very grateful that everyone assisted us without any hesitation, even though I'm not fluent in English.

The room was spotless and well-equipped. The only downside was the air conditioning, which was quite noisy at night. During my stay, there was some painting going on outside, and the smell came into the room through the fresh air system. I couldn't get rid of it, and opening the window wasn't an option because it was too hot. The breakfast was mediocre and didn't quite live up to hotel standards.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! I booked it during Trip.com's 318 Spring Sale. The only minor issue was that when rooms became available, it seemed like they were sold out every other day, which made me wonder if the hotel was doing it on purpose. I ended up having to book an extra night in a standard room through another platform. Thankfully, the hotel was generous enough to let me stay in the same room without having to move. Aside from that, it was almost perfect. First off, the price was reasonable. In Singapore, where hotels typically cost around S$2,000, finding a place for just over S$1,000 that also offered beautiful surroundings, new facilities, a spacious room, four complimentary bottled water bottles, a toiletries kit, and slippers was truly exceptional. We didn't try the breakfast, though I imagine it's good; the additional cost seemed a bit high, and we couldn't wake up early enough anyway, so we just grabbed a quick bite and headed out to explore. Getting a taxi was a bit circuitous since it's located on a hill, and walking up was a bit tiring. However, the environment truly is beautiful. The famous '网红树洞' (internet-famous tree cave) had a long queue every morning. Once we got familiar with the layout, we found it quite convenient to walk around the area. The front desk staff, both the English-speaking gentleman and the Chinese-speaking lady, were incredibly friendly. Our first two days in Singapore were very comfortable thanks to this experience!

Apartment was very clean and had almost everything you would want. However there were only 4 coffee pods for the machine and when I asked for two more, I was told they only came in packs of 12 and you had to buy them. I was only staying a few days and I would have thought that 2 pods would not have broken the bank and personally, provide the pods for the machine free of charge and charge an extra couple of $ or remove the machine altogether. You are either offering a service or you are not and if you are, offer a full service. Other than that, everything was perfect so thank you very much

voco Orchard Singapore is ideally located on Orchard Road, just 100 meters from the Orchard MRT station. Despite facing the bustling Orchard Road, it's surprisingly quiet at night with no significant traffic noise. The hotel boasts a rooftop with a fine dining restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, and a gym for guests to enjoy. The rooms are also quite spacious, suitable for solo travelers, couples, or even families. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. All in all, it's a hotel with excellent value for money.

This hotel is one building with marriot so if your keys not working maybe you got to wrong elevator 😁. Location is not too bad , near from orchard easy way by a taxi but walking also not too bad 20-30mins . So many offers and happy hours good for you. Breakfast is 70/10 Pool is good , Room spacious and clean , so far so good.

Stayed at Mama Shelter Singapore on Orchard Road and had such a fun stay! We arrived early after dragging big luggage from the MRT in Singapore’s heat, so getting an early check-in from Pang, the lovely Thai front desk staff, was such a relief. She made a very good first impression and was super warm and welcoming. The hotel looks exactly like the photos online — stylish boutique vibes, cool air-conditioning, trendy lobby space, and a lively atmosphere. The restaurant downstairs also looked really interesting. Pang told us it’s a French restaurant offering a promotional burger + caviar set for just SGD39! We already had plans so didn’t get to try it, but the evening ambiance, music, and crowd looked so tempting, fun, and lively 😂🤣 All the staff we met were friendly, helpful, and approachable throughout the stay. The room felt new, comfortable, and cozy with strong water pressure and great air-conditioning. One small thing though — the dark-toned design and halogen lighting make dust very visible, so I think housekeeping will need to work hard to keep everything spotless 😅 Location-wise, it’s very convenient. The hotel has its own parking lot and it’s within walking distance to Orchard Road, making it easy to hop on buses or explore around. Very close to Somerset MRT Station too. Right opposite the hotel you can find local breakfast spots like Killiney Kopitiam and several other local eateries. Personally, I tried Fook Kin just across the road — their char siu roast pork rice and shrimp wonton noodle soup were so good! You can choose mee kia (thin noodles) or mee pok (thicker noodles). The Malaysian male server there was also very friendly. Another thing we really appreciated was the late check-out arrangement. Since our flight was after 8 PM, we asked if we could keep one room longer and the hotel kindly granted us a late check-out until 2 PM. We actually left around 1 PM+, and it helped us so much. After long walks around New Bahru, buses around the city, exploring Fort Canning Park, and walking nonstop under Singapore’s scorching heat and humidity this week 😅😅, being able to return for a proper shower and short rest before heading to the airport made a huge difference. Overall, a very enjoyable and lively stay in Singapore. Would definitely come back again!

It is always a pleasure to come stay here as it is soo convenient and also staff here are very helpful regardless the timing. Will be extending my stay again jus cos im feeling too comfortable and cos It truly feels like home over here

The room was newly renovated and one of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the bathtub, which did not disappoint. The room was very clean and equipped with smart facilities, making the stay comfortable overall. However, the location was quite inconvenient. It’s at least a 10-minute uphill walk from Paragon, unless you cut through the buildings from Far East Plaza. There are also no nearby convenience stores, which made getting essentials a hassle. The restaurants within the hotel also appeared to be closed during my stay. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t consider staying here again unless I planned to spend the entire day in the hotel and rely on GrabFood for meals.
