The lady on duty on the Singapore public holiday after the National Day was a bit crafty. Wanted to charge us $100 for checking in at 14h00, one hour earlier than official checkin. The notices on the counter clearly mentioned it cost $25 for a one hour early checkin. We did not request an early checkin. Then came the carrot. The same lady offered one room with 4 beds instead of the two rooms we had booked with free early checkin. Nice try, but we were not falling for that old trick. My wife is Chinese and she sniffed a rat in that deal instantly when she realised we would be giving up a second bathroom and some privacy of interleading doors between the two rooms we had booked. Pretty sneaky lady that receptionist Very convenient location along the river. Hotel has a leisure pool for a casual dip. Coffee and tea in the room, even a kettle but you guessed it, the only hotel I have ever stayed at that does not provide bottled water in the room. Msybe they thought the river is close enough to fill the kettle

The hotel is very clean. Although it's a bit old, it doesn't look dated and there's no musty smell. The room is quite spacious, and I especially liked the entryway design. Our room even offered a partial view of Marina Bay Sands. The breakfast was plentiful, the service was friendly, and the location is super convenient with the MRT station right across the street. It only takes about 40 minutes to get here from the airport via MRT, making it easy to go anywhere. Everything was satisfactory, and it's definitely worth staying here.

The location is good especially nearby the Tiong Bahru hawker centre/market and one of the MRT station within 5- 10 minutes walking distance, if you walk further down of around 1km within 2 bus tops, you will reach the Tiong Bahru MRT station and the shopping Mall. We changed twice upon check in due to 1st room with a lot of ants crawling on my food bought from JB and the aircond is warm air even after 1/2 an hour waiting, we complained to a male receptionist, he assigned a new room on the same floor but we have to pick up the room card ourselves. Once we entered, room looks good but the bathroom is with heavy cigarettes smell we requested for a change again. It’s really……we need to pick up the new card again and moved to a new room. This room is considered better of same room type except bathroom is mouldy and some parts with unclear hanging dusts. The women at the reception is friendly with smiling face.. this is an old hotel with old furnitures.

Traveling solo in Singapore, I found this capsule hotel's location to be excellent. A short walk to the left brings you to the police station landmark, and it's also very close to Marina Bay. The MRT station is about 700-800 meters away, which made for a bit of a trek when returning at night, but manageable. The hotel's interior is really impressive, truly. You have to wear slippers inside the capsule area, which keeps things smelling fresh. All the guests I encountered were polite and respected the quiet atmosphere. The restrooms are shared, but they're cleaned immediately after each use. There are about 8-9 toilets, all with separate wet and dry areas, so waiting in line was rarely an issue. Hair dryers, shower gel, and shampoo are all provided. The front desk staff were very friendly, always greeting me whenever we crossed paths. As a 180cm tall man, I could fully stretch out on the bed. The bedside locker also offered ample storage. However, being located on Clarke Quay's bar street, there can be some noise if you're in a window-side capsule around 7-8 PM. That said, the windows can't be opened, and the sound wasn't loud enough to disturb my sleep. The hotel offers a great selection of free amenities like toothbrushes, earplugs, and razors, all disposable and self-service. They even provide complimentary sanitary pads, which is a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was definitely a good experience with excellent privacy.

Very convenient check in and check out process, all on mobile. Mary Shannen was very helpful, courteous and friendly. She made sure I was comfortable throughout my whole stay. Great service from Mary! Jamie was also super responsive, responding immediately to any concerns and questions I had. Their free luggage storage was great too, so I didn’t have to worry about anything. Stunning river views right outside the door too. Would recommend if you like to do a bit of walking and enjoy nightlife

I stayed for four nights a week before Singapore's National Day, paying over S$1100 including taxes and breakfast for two. I imagine it would be even better value for money during off-peak seasons. The front desk staff were very friendly, and it was interesting to see guests from all over the world. 'Broken English' works just fine, and if you encounter a Chinese staff member, you can speak in Mandarin. The hotel has been open for a while, but it's well-maintained. The room itself isn't very large, and the windows are sealed, but the high ceilings prevent it from feeling cramped. There's enough space to open luggage on the rack, as long as you keep things tidy. The air conditioning works well with no unpleasant odors, and the water pressure in the bathroom is good. Slippers, towels, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are replaced daily. Hand soap, shampoo, and shower gel are provided, as are a hairdryer and iron. You might want to bring your own body lotion and conditioner. Laundry service is quite expensive, and there's no clothesline in the room. With sealed windows and no airflow, drying clothes is difficult, so don't count on doing laundry here. It's best to bring quick-dry clothes or extra changes of outfits. The room was cleaned daily and was perfectly fine; they even folded my scattered clothes. The breakfast spread is extensive, with Western options, Chinese congee and buns, Indian food, fruits, and salads. A crucial warning: never leave food unattended on an outdoor table and go get more – birds *will* steal it! It's about an 8-minute walk to both Clarke Quay MRT station and Chinatown MRT station, which isn't super close but also not too far, so it's generally convenient. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and you can easily walk to Merlion Park, the Police Headquarters, Funan Mall, and various museums. Overall, I recommend this hotel and would choose it again on my next trip to Singapore!

The location, ambiance, and service were all great. The only downsides were the room size and facilities, which were a common issue for hotels in Singapore. For a hotel costing over 1000 a night, the toilet and shower were quite basic. However, the hotel's pool environment was lovely, and the staff's service was very nice.

The hotel is in a convenient location, about an 8-minute walk from Clarke Quay Central Shopping Mall and Clarke Quay MRT station. Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. However, the luggage storage arrangement could be improved. There is no proper storage area. The bags are simply placed beside the chairs in front of the reception, which feels quite disorganised. There is also no lobby toilet available before check-in. Guests are asked to walk to the nearby mall if they need to use the restroom. The room was suitable only for a short stay. It did not smell very fresh, the bed sheets had visible marker stains, and there was also a lingering unpleasant odour in the room. Overall, the location is convenient, but the cleanliness, luggage storage, and guest facilities could be improved.

Booked this for my family and friends, and they provided positive feedback. They found the surrounding facilities convenient and the cleanliness good. It's also close to major attractions, many of which are within walking distance. However, there's still room for improvement regarding both service and room cleanliness.

We booked a triple room. It's convenient that the sink is outside the bathroom. There's a kettle in the room, along with coffee and tea sachets, which is a plus. A huge bonus was that breakfast was included in the price. We liked it; it was quite varied, buffet style. (There were eggs, broccoli, rice, beans, some fruit, coffee, cream, toast bread with a toaster, etc.). It was enough for us, we felt full. The location is convenient – Clarke Quay MRT station is just across the road. You can get anywhere you need from there. The floors in the room were a bit dirty, but we didn't pay attention to it. There was also air conditioning, for those who care. We didn't use it much – we opened the windows instead, as it probably needed cleaning. Overall, for such a reasonable price, we are happy with the hotel. One more request for the hotel: please add clothes dryers to the rooms (things don't dry well in the bathroom).
