Beautiful Castle Hotel make even greater with the use of good quality products within the room. A fantastic stay which included the private use of wellness facilities (has to be reserved), drinks in the mini bar and a nespresso machine.

What a great location! The service is perfect, very special and beautiful decoration throughout the facilities!

For our 30th wedding anniversary we stayed here 2 nights. And what a great choice that was. Really enjoyed every moment of it. The room was very nice and everything we needed was there. When we checked in the lady at the reception knew everything and it was cleary that they she knew we were there for a specific reason. We like that!!! We got some great tips from a very friendly and helpful lady from Tongeren at te reception what to visit and where to go in the beautiful city of Tongeren. Thanks for that, as it was indeed very worthwhile. Go to Tongeren instead of Sint-Truiden..... The castle itself is very beautiful. Inside and outside. Also the surroundings. We had dinner at Bistro Richard, and both dinners were very good. Try the veal or cod. Really terrific. Also breakfast is very good. Great buffet BUT also you can order very nice things to start the day from card.

Fantastic experience in a beautifully restored old castle, my room was on the top floor including the turret tower which has been cleverly converted into a shower room with 270 degree views. The on site restaurant Aurum is amazing, top class dishes with local ingredients and overall amazing staff making the experience extra special. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic 3-night stay in this wonderfully restored castle, decorated and furnished in the same warm and luxurious style. The staff gave us a warm welcome, helped with our luggage, and guided us to our room. The room was spacious, decorated in the same style as the rest of the hotel, and had a large, good bed, two comfortable chairs and a desk. The large bathroom was well-equipped with towels and other necessities. The room was very quiet. Unfortunately, the hotel's Aurum restaurant was fully booked, but Bistro Richard was an excellent alternative, with friendly, attentive staff and very good food. The same Bistro offered an excellent breakfast with a wide choice, and eggs prepared to order. Upon our departure, the staff showed us out and helped us with our luggage again. We will certainly be back in Kasteel Van Ordingen again!

I’d love to say it was a wonderful stay at a 5 star establishment. In many aspects it was. The staff we interacted with often could not enough for you and were very friendly. But it lacked overall the ambience and service of many other 5 star hotels we’ve experienced. Aurum was special. No qualms over the room. Private Wellness a nice touch. The estate as a whole a wonderful sight. It just felt lacking in staff. The on sight ebike hire and Pascal a bonus, but the tech unfortunately failed us with the battery falling off the bike so we continued without. The checkout was bizarre, no bill just a credit card cost. Transpired later with the email Factuur that not all was as I had booked at online check-in. Nothing majorly different, but it sums up the stay. And still a week later nobody has replied to my email. As I say good, should be great, but it wasn’t for some easily addressable elements, primarily get a couple more staff!

Amazing place, great service and delicious restaurant! Wonderful wellness! I can only warmly recommend!
