Restaurant visit The food was exceptional myself and partner enjoyed a fabulous 3 course dinner in the “Gingerlily” dining room. The Duck breast was cooked to perfection as well as the sea bass. Our hostess was very attentive and accommodated all our needs.would definitely recommend to anybody that enjoys excellent dining.

This hotel never fails to please. Efficient pleasant staff, excellent room with everything in the right place I.e. sockets, hooks, mirrors, heated towel rail, straightforward shower with safety mat, comfortable pillows and bed well made. I often visit in winter or early spring so room is always cosy and there is an additional portable radiator and fan. Decor is tasteful and breakfast offers great choice and value for money. I have eaten at the restaurant and wasn’t disappointed but I can equally recommend san Rufus Italian in the town. It was actually better than eating in Italy

Very disappointed with the room & hotel, so much so, we left. Travelled with my mum & had booked a twin room. We had room 7. No lift, but someone did take our bags up for us. The twin room was very dark & dingy with brown painted walls & ceiling. The dark furniture was chipped & very tired looking, the chair didn't look clean. The mattresses were awful & a main reason we decided not to stay. The lights over the bed were standing in dust, there were ink splodges on the bedding & hairs on the sheets. The hotel did not agree with us, so we did not receive any refund after our 20 minute stay. I've never felt the need to leave a hotel, ever, so was bitterly disappointed with the room & service.

Stayed for two nights. Hotel was lovely and clean. Room was superb and warm and comfy. Staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of parking available and walkable into Skegness town centre. Would definitely stay again.

Me and the gals decided to pop down for lunch and wine, i had the belly pork and it was drier than Queen Elizabeth. The portions were small and the veg was soaked in oil. The desserts were okay but didn’t save the meal at all, at least the wines were pretty cheap?

Thought we'd try eating here again as we haven't been for a few years, we both had the belly pork which was really tasty & nicely presented, I often have to ask for a doggy bag at most restaurants as I can't usually manage a full meal, however I was actually really hungry still due to the small amount served & hubby was even more so, couldn't really believe it was the main we were served at £17 each it was more like the light portion or the portion you'd expect for the midweek 2 for £16 the smallest amount of meat I think we've ever had anywhere, if we'd been served both portions of meat on one plate it'd hardly have been a normal portion we usually get elsewhere! We did ask afterwards if we had been charged correctly which apparently £17 each was correct!

Probably the worst Sunday lunch I’ve ever had, The rib of beef was reheated in a microwave and absolutely disgusting couldn’t eat it, the belly pork was pure fat all our starters were cold and underwhelming. It’s like the chef really doesn’t give a sh£t about what goes out the kitchen. The most disappointing thing was they knew we were there for a very emotional family get together and it was clearly took advantage of!!! Shame on you the Vine, maybe this is why you’re not busy!! Not once were we asked if everything was ok!!!!
