I have never stayed in such a disgusting room. I tried to get somewhere else but all full. The website is full of pictures of food and they haven’t had a functioning kitchen for over 2 years. Don’t book it, they don’t care

August Bank Holiday weekend, we had been paying around £5 to £8 for our round of 2 drinks in the pubs in Skegness, here same round £14, also some strange drunk bloke stood at the bar hoping for a reaction to his comments, think he was looking for a fight, I love a fight & would of happily had kicked his head in, but not when I’m out with the missis

This place is closed Arrived - had 2 rooms booked- to be told by the guy running the bar down stairs that the hotel had been closed for months! It had new owners but the old owners and they hadn’t taking of *********** ‘they know but keep sending people. It’s under renovation apparently and unliveable. Didn’t manage to find ANYWHERE to stay. Ended up driving home. Nightmare.

I really wanted to stay here for a birthday treat. So we went to skegness twice to book it. Finally we spoke to the boss, Russ who told us he would sort it. We would receive an email in a couple of days, 5 days later, no email. So we rang again, he said a new booking system is now being installed so you will get an email shortly, but still no email. So the day before we went, we phoned him again. Yes I am sure you are booked in but I will double check. Then he told us, sorry we are fully booked, but I will try and sort something and ring you back!!! That was the last we heard!!! So make sure you ring before you leave. But all ended well, we stayed in a lovely place just down that road.

Booked the hotel as a late choice and didn’t expect too much after reading the reviews, when we arrived it looked tired from the outside. Once in it looked even more run down and had the air of a DSS hostel. Our room was small and although appeared to have been cleaned was still a bit grubby. Even worse was the toilet, dried on skid marks down the length of the pot and what looked like a stained and grubby 1980’s office chair next to the shower. The mattress and pillows were so worn out and tired we got hardly any sleep. We tried to check out the next morning (a day early as we couldn’t stand it any more) but there was nobody around at 7.45. Never ever would I recommend this place!!

It took 3 attempts to get the right key to a room up and down trying diff rooms/keys b4 finally getting a room. Was woken up at 6am with wood louse crawling on my, in the bed. Absolutely disgusting. No staff no number to call. The hotel is in disrepair and has ground in dirt in the walls floors carpets and lift. This place needs closing down and fumigated. Speaking with the locals in the area said it is the most dirtiest and unkempt hotel in skegness.
