This hotel is about 15 mins walk from main tourist zone in Skiathos Town, including the port. However, an excellent and very large supermarket is a 2 min walk from the hotel. I arrived about 1pm, and was able to access my room, but it was not exactly what I paid for. I ordered a courtyard view, but was given mountain views instead. Unfortunately the mountain view side has a construction site nearby (about 50 ms away). However, during my visit the island was suffering from major fooding, so not much construction was happening. There was mini kitchen with good size fridge. (see photo) Only problem was a lack of lighting in the room, but this is not issue for me - I bring my own portable lamp! - Many hotels lack lighting for computer work or reading. Overall, this hotel represents good value for money, compared to the other options in Skiathos Town.
A taxi from the hotel to airport is $15 Euro. (fixed fare) And it takes about 10 mins. You could walk to the hotel, (2 kms from the Airport) but many roads were flooded during this visit, so a taxi was desirable. On return a taxi to airport will cost $10 Euro. (just hailed from the street, not ordered)

A tiny, hideous and completely broken room, truly squalid, holes in the wall, dangerous iron pipes coming out of the floor, broken balconies, tiny bathroom, a truly horrible stay and non-existent reception

Our room was small for 4 people, a wardrobe with 2 small doors with 2 drawers for everyone, the double bed with the mattress where you sank, the single ones ok but the bunk bed was in the kitchen. The kitchen with 2 electric burners but there wasn't a pan, just a kettle and a saucepan that was enough to heat a glass of milk, no table apart from a very small out-of-round one, the very small bathroom, with the taps full of limestone, the the water from the shower penetrated the wall and came out into the kitchen, door destroyed by mould, enough hot water and excellent pressure, cleaning not thorough, sheets with stains, non-existent reception, located near the center of Skiatos, not recommended.
