Sunrise Village Hotel Apartments

We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Village a place that truly lives up to its name with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The location is excellent: just a short walk from Skopelos Town and the harbour, yet quiet enough to relax and unwind. The rooms and the entire property are spotlessly clean!! And everything is perfectly maintained and cared for, which made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The staff is simply amazing: kind, helpful, and always smiling. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were full of great local tips.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at this hotel. Good location, a few minutes easy walk to the main harbour with all the bars and restaurants. the hotel itself is spotlessly clean, and the rooms quite spacious with plenty of shower gels and soaps and towels provided every day. The staff are all very helpful and very friendly, especially the cleaning staff that never seem to stop laughing with each other. Around the pool we never failed to get a sun bed when we wanted one, no early morning bed hoggers here, the only thing we didn't take to was the choice of music played at the pool from the bar, others might like it though! We would definitely return to this hotel when we come back to Skopolos.

Lovely hotel, nice and quiet, friendly staff, easy check in lovely pool and gardens. everything spotless and clean. Excellant shower, comfy bed and pillows, fabulous air con, small kitchenette which was ok for our needs short walk into town. Only one negative no drawers but we read about that so took packing cubes for small items. This helped with tidyness and storage. I would happily return

Wonderful welcome, amazing rooms. We had 201 which offered a pool view and side sea view! Superb facilities in the room, exceptional housekeeping and reception/bar staff. Lovely location. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Very competitive bar prices Few tips:- bring some extra coat hangers as there is limited storage for clothes. Ask for a mattress topper for the third bed if you are using it (it’s quite firm)

Mamma Mia! Very affordable, clean and accesible place to stay in Skopelos. Only 10 mins away from the port. Lots of good places to eat nearby.

No WiFi in a hotel - No tv channels- No lifeguard in a pool-the furniture is old and need to change. Just the view is good if stay in a frond room's. I think is a to mutch 120 euros per day and with no morning lunch and all the other's.

In over thirty years of holidaying in Greece this place is one of two hotels with the comfiest beds we have slept in. We had one of the deluxe one-bedroom apartments. The spacious balcony overlooked the excellent swimming pool and had a partial sea view and sunset views when available. The pool is cleaned daily. Swimmable when it opens at 10 am, by 4pm it is nice and warm. The apartment was well appointed but self-caterers beware there are no cooking facilities but a toaster, sandwich maker, kettle and coffee machine were provided. (It doesn't advertise cooking facilities but comes in the self catering category in Jet2's catalogue.) Daily cleaning and towel change. Wonderful shower. Attentive service. We reported a leaky sink and it was repaired within the hour. The furniture is ultra modern, too much so for an old fogie like me but my wife liked it. Beware the furniture has heavy wooden bases which can hurt if you bang against them. The bed base had sharp corners which drew blood from my wife, twice. Nicely situated just away from the hustle and bustle of the main town but there are seaside tavernas nearby. Two moans for the owners. A bigger table on the balcony would have helped, as would a bigger car park. We had to park in the street more often than not. What about the overgrown land next door?

Our first visit to the Sunrise and it didn't disappoint. We had a one bedroom apartment and it was fabulous. The only downside was the lack of storage, could do with a few more shelves in the bedroom. However, we did make use of the woven baskets that were scattered about the apartment, so we managed, it didn't spoil our experience. I understand that all rooms are now refurbished. There are rooms low down which don't have patio doors or views but it depends on what you book. We emailed the hotel before going even though we'd booked with Jet2 to ask for a room with a pool/sea view, and we got one. The room was cleaned everyday, cleaners all lovely, the pool was cleaned everyday. There is no pool bar but you can get cold drinks, including beer, at reception. The surroundings are lovely and it is well maintained and looked after. Thank you to Vasso in reception, who made us feel very welcome and is lovely and friendly.

This is a very nice place. Modern and clean and has everything you need. Also very kind and helpful service if you need any help. We are happy with our stay here. Will recommend it for others. Also near the town, just a 5 min walk away across to the ocean.
