Second time staying in the Allingham Arms for the Rory Gallagher festiva. Lovely breakfast and great location, will definitely book again if available.

Just checked out this morning and had a lovely time but absolutely appalled with the manners of the staff in the restaurant, it was management. The woman who was taking people to their seats was so rude, proceeded to drag us away from a table, pulling us by the arm because we misunderstood what table to go to!!! I stayed June 21st and left today and although the buffet of the breakfast was excellent, the environment which was created by management was extremely uncomfortable, shouting at staff from across the restaurant telling them what to do and being exceptionally rude to paying customers!!! I hope this is dealt with appropriately unlike her behavior. Hotel rooms are clean and well kept. Reception staff were so helpful and bar staff were kind when helping us find out the location for sea sessions events

Well run hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast each morning with a great view of the sea. Staff were friendly and professional.

Everything was 5 star in the hotel but the only thing that I can fault is for the buffet breakfast the cutlery/plates/cups/bowls had not been cleaned properly, they had bits of food like weetabix stuck to them it was very hard to find a clean bowl for my corn flakes. I didn’t mind this as such but other people wouldn’t be so happy about it and they are dead right to ware should be washed properly or not at all. But apart from that the stay was amazing lovely quiet place rooms were lovely and clean and staff were lovely

we have stayed here several times and hope to stay again . staff and hotel are great and it is a very short walk into town .

Lovely hotel, excellent large rooms, though no safe, fridge, AC or bath. Small windows a pity, a chance missed, but perhaps heat insulation is a bigger priority in chilly Donegal. Bar restaurant food was great. Entertainment in the bar every night. Buffet breakfast was decent, but a late table allocation meant dried out pre cooked goods, so try and dine earlier.cook the eggs and bacon less, and the tomatoes more! Coffee machine on the buffet switched off, no breakfast cappuccino, just dull filter coffee. Prepay on arrival policy, doesn't inspire confidence in their clientele! This is fine though, makes checkout a non event, no bill. Great stay overall.

Good hotel, clean, very pleasant staff, nothing a problem, really nice room. My only complaints were, no internet, a long walk to the room and the provide entertainment was naf.

A perfect place along the beautiful coast!! Great service from start to finish!!! Front desk was always there to assist with questions and guidance.

Lights were a little difficult to get the hang of, if the window was opened the door rattled all the time, sometimes waking us up, there were cracks in the bathroom ceiling and no toilet brush. The restaurant and pub was nice, staff was super helpful.
