We stayed here from 12th–16th April and, honestly, it was a frustrating experience from the very first night.
Within a few hours of arriving, we had to move rooms three times. The first room was right next to the lift and in poor condition. The second had no working air conditioning, the window wouldn’t open, and the room was extremely stuffy. It was also very dated and had what appeared to be blood stains on the carpet, which is completely unacceptable.
We ended up in a third room for the rest of the stay, but it still wasn’t great. The room was very outdated, with worn carpets and old furnishings that looked like they hadn’t been updated in decades. The sink didn’t drain properly either, which just added to the feeling that basic maintenance wasn’t being kept on top of.
The beds were okay, but nothing special and not comparable to other hotels at a similar price point.
There were also simple service issues. We asked for an ice pack to be stored in the freezer, but it was put in the fridge instead, leaving us without it when we needed it.
On check-out day, which happened to be my birthday, we were given free parking. While that was appreciated, it didn’t really make up for the overall experience, and it wasn’t clear whether this was due to the issues we had or just the occasion.
Overall, the hotel feels very tired and in need of a full refurbishment. Between the condition of the rooms, the need to move multiple times, and the lack of attention to detail, it didn’t feel like value for money at all. We were close to checking out and booking somewhere else on the first night.
I wouldn’t stay here again unless significant improvements are made.
