Fatal, there was no hot water throughout the stay, they gave us no answer or solution either in the hotel or on the trip, cockroaches in the room, humidity, repetitive and poor quality buffet, impossible to dine in the restaurants because you had to reserve many days in advance. in advance, before arriving they do not answer emails or anything, the beach is horrible, full of algae, dirty and ugly, to get there from Playa del Carmen it is impossible if it is not a taxi that charges you €60 for a 15 minute ride, from the door entrance to the lobi you have to walk two km and from the room to the beach another 2, they don't even get you close to the door... DO NOT BOOK HERE OR THIS HOTEL, BEST RIU WITHOUT ANY DOUBT

The bad - upon entering the hotel they gave me a room that had nothing to do with the one I booked (sea view) and after trying to talk on the phone they never answered at reception so when I called the operator she only told I went to the reception to ask for it myself. I was at reception for 1 hour so they gave me a sea view room which was closer to the beach and pool. At the beach buffet, when I went for a soft drink, they turned me down and told me the waiter would bring it to the table.
The Good - Food and weekend shows at specialty restaurants.

It feels like I can't always book a high-end dinner...but the hotel is big enough, away from the sea, and the view is good. The equipment is ok, but the price is really good! Have a chance, will come again.

The worst vacation of my life! Make sure you read to the end;
1. The room we booked was not the room we received, as result ended up changing rooms 3 times in 3 days, the last 2 rooms where exactly the same and the last room did not have Wi-Fi, for someone that was supposed to work a few days it did not help.
2. No Hot Water, when contacting the desk, we were told that only warm water was available.
3. The food was sub-par, the buffet was the same rotated food every day and even in the restaurants the quality was not very good.
4. Wife got food poising, spent 2 days in bed.
5. Only one bar available for the pool and beach area, so if you wanted a drink you better have patience.
6. No snack bar on the pool or beach area.
7. Beach water was very murky and not what the promo pictures displayed.
8. On the my first day there I cracked my head open in 2 feet of water which required 10 stiches b/c the water was so murky and the hotel did not have any signs that stated it as a rocky beach even the lifeguards deem that part of beach unsafe but the hotel refuses to post a sign. After this incident I spent 2 days trying to get a hold of a manager but kept getting the runaround but after much push back I was able to see a manager who was polite but did nothing to improve our stay. There was never a follow up after the incident from any supervisor or manager, it seems that only the daily workers are supposed to care for their guests. Extremely poor Customer Service.

Service was excellent (after check in), the grounds are lovely. The food was disappointing, even the ala carte restaurants.
Overall enjoyed our stay! If you’re looking for something you can walk to other areas, this isn’t it. More your own space.

Every one was nice from the person who clean the outside of the room until the one who work in the kitchen. Th only part I don’t like was the shower tub but the bed nice and soft the drinks was good the pool was nice the people who drive the car around the hotel was so nice.
