Hotels near Penjalan Center Point (PCP), Solo

I stay one night in this hotel when i travel to solo. Its clean but The room(standar room) is a bit small. I like how they design their rooms and with all the interiors on the hotel (especially at the restaurant). Overall, i have a good experience and will consider to come back.

I stayed here for a day for a trip, the hotel location is very strategic, close to shopping malls (PGS, BTC, Klewer Market, Gede Market), but also sweep on the road concentration in front of the hotel, It's a bit difficult to cross but the hotel security guard is eager to help, for night culinary is also a lot around the hotel, enough for walking or wanting to ride a rickshaw. When entering the hotel staff warmly greets and served well, a bit unfortunately after from the lobby we passed the kiddoz pool when there were children swimming, the floor was certainly wet, Maybe it's a reconsideration of the road. In the hotel hallway twisted the candles of the Quran that soothing heart. The hotel room is quite large, the facilities are complete, there is coffee, tea and snack in the room, for worship is also available Sajadah, but I don't find the Koran like any other review, maybe with request provided. At the time we reported that there was no bath mat, the staff eagerly took them to the room. What's disturbing is because there's a renovation work (I know then there's buildings) so it sounds ”duk,” and a few times having a electrical downturn, maybe the effects of the renovation. The hotel is located in Jebres area, near KA solo Balapan Station, Thiong Ting's funeral house, Star Cafe, Timlo Sastro, Orion Rot Shop, etc., but no one sells food around the hotel. We stayed there because we were ordered a big family to wander to Thiong Ting. Just entered the lobby area, it was already seen that this is an old hotel, because the atmosphere is gloomy and the air conditioner is less cold. There are mosquitoes in the lobby. The receptionist also lacks a smile/friendly. In front of the lobby there is land for parking vehicles. There was a pool behind the base floor of the hotel, but we didn't have time to check it out. We were given a room on the back mezzanine floor (no rooms 210, 211, 212, dst.). Apparently this is a standard room. The room is narrow, no windows, smells of a slight, not enough room for an extra bed. Wifi is not available in this type of room, and can only access in lobby and restaurant. Because the AC was leaking, we were moved to another room on the 2nd floor (no room 220, 221, dst). The maintenance came pretty quick when complained about the air leak. Apparently this replacement room given was a moderate room (catt: we were not upgraded, but we were given another type of room, because the standard type was full, so we had to pay more). The room is bigger, covered, and not covered. Wifi available in this type of room. The air conditioner is cold, even very cold, maybe the remote key is broken, so it cannot be set/smalled, can only be on/off. There was a TV, coffee maker, and a mini fridge in the room, but we didn't have time to use it. We didn't have time to try the bathroom in the room on the mezzanine, but the one on the second floor, the hot water works well, but there was no shower curtain, so when the shower was splashed throughout the bathroom area. The drainage in the sink is also less smooth. Bath amenities are available: shampo, hand sanitizer (2), shower cap, toothbrush. One of our group's rooms did not smoothly the drainage, so the water was swell. Another guest from our group found cockroaches in their room, and in our own room there were lots of ants, so in the morning we found the cake we brought already full of ants. In the room located in front of the hotel, there is a noise of motorbikes, while in the room behind the hotel, there is a noise of a train passing by. There are two elevators, two units in front, near the lobby, and two units back. The lift works well, just confused, because when given no room 210 dst, we thought it was on the 2nd floor, but it turned out it was on the mezzanine floor, so it was a chance to escape, and there was no information from the reception. Neo Gading solo is one of the new Aston group hotels in Solo. The hotel is quite small, and the location is on a corner, access is rather difficult because you have to cross a red light. Parking is also not much, only about 10 cars. Fast check-in process. There is a welcome drink infused water. The 1st floor contains the lobby, restaurant and meeting room. There are 2 lifts, one passenger lift and one service lift. The corridor was quite narrow because when there was a HK trolley, my stroller could not pass, I had to carry + fold the stroller. The room is comfortable, the AC is cold, clean, the Wifi is fast, the TV is very clear and there is a Google nest in the room to replace the phone. There is a kettle. For drinking water, a dispenser is provided in the corridor and we can take it using the one provided in the room. Honeymoon requests are provided with art towels, fruit platters and greetings on TV. Amazed because even though it was 2 stars but it was approved for the request. The room area is sufficient for a 2 star class, unfortunately the bathroom in the shower section is rather narrow (only 1 meter). Because it's still new, the mattresses and pillows are soft, sleep well, the sheets and covers are clean without stains. The amenities in the bathroom are standard, there is a hairdryer and a dispenser for shampoo soap. Towels are provided 2 towels + 4 towels made of art towels. The breakfast is decent for 2 stars, there are cakes, spiku, plain bread, salad, fresh fruit, infused water and orange juice, chicken porridge, chicken soup, coffee tea, omelette, white rice, fried noodles, mustard greens, fish, potatoes. The taste is quite suitable on the tongue even though the variants are limited.

Am wondering why so many people have to complain while and the same time they forgot about what they paid. Absolute value for money. Stayed for 5 days and changed room 3 times. After first room switch TV didn't work but was solved swiftly. Super friendly staff. After day 2 they welcomed me as an old friend. Comfy bed, clean towels, TV with all channels one might need, simple but tasty breakfast. Take the price in mind, and you cannot wish any better!

Stayed here for a night in August 2022. Pros: 1) The location is good. It is a short walk to the Danar Hadi museum and the Mangkunegaran Palace. 2) The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and was of adequate size. 3) The staff was polite, courteous and helpful. 4) The WIFI was free and the connectivity/speed were good. 5) The place was reasonably quiet and the sleep quality was good. 6) Breakfast started early (6 am). 7) The tariff was cheap. Cons: 1) The cleanliness of the restaurant area was poor. 2) The restaurant was very slow in its service. 3) The breakfast spread was very limited and the taste was not great.

The hotel used to be beautiful ounces upon the time….. about 30 years ago. Today is awful, dirty bathroom, dirty linen , broken furniture in the room… I could go on and an but it is not worthy just look at the bathtub photo.

Zest Solo, one of the newest 2-star hotels in the city of Surakarta. Its location in Manahan, the parking lot can be quite steep and narrow, fortunately the hotel offers free valet parking facilities. The lobby is a standard size with a modern interior. The room size is quite spacious and comfortable for a 2 star, equipped with benches, chairs and simple work desks. The mattress size 100x200 is comfortable enough with 1 pillow each per mattress. For the zest rooms, all of them are twin. They can set Hollywood but they are only attached and still easy to move, so it's not comfortable. In the room, they provide complimentary 2 bottles of 600 ml mineral water, and a dispenser for refilling mineral water at the corridor. The bathroom uses a head shower and faucet. For shampoo and bath gel, use a 2 in 1 dispenser system, no toothbrush is provided so it is better to bring your own. The wifi speed is not good, fortunately the TV shows are clear. There is also a room service menu that is affordable. Overall the rooms are quite comfortable because the condition of the hotel is still new and still well maintained. For breakfast, you can say the taste can be enjoyed and the variants are quite complete, there are pecel, yellow rice, bacem tofu, green bean porridge, indomie corner, egg corner, fried noodles, guava and orange juice, sliced fresh fruit and pudding. Unfortunately i see some people walking around, picking some food not using mask, i hope they can apply the health protocol strictly
