Check in was a problem. Owner wasnt expecting us, no one was there. Heather was GREAT - helped with replacing fridge. I plugged in my phone and tripped the breaker, burned my plug. Heather offered to replace and offered different room. She also helped us figure out the TV. Give her an award. "Suite" was a small room - NOT a Suite - and had no screens. Loved the deck, fishing pier, beach and location.

Staff in the evening was pleasant
stairs where steep to carry my suitcase up and down
Room needs updating
And it was strange no one in the hotel during the day. Make sure you keep your key or you’ll get locked out of the hotel.

I love the upper deck. Don’t like three flights without elevator Rooms are ok. Yes clean but not updated. Room was stocked with water and coffee. Easy to park. Even though restaurant and bar down below very quiet

Love the spot on the water- could do better with the outdoor seating on balconies- also should have a service station open for coffee, tea, cucumber water, juice and maybe bagels & fruit or something for guests- overall another nice stay- dinner could’ve been better more attention to plating and portions-

The location is great, right next to a little beach and marina for families. The hotel is very clean and staff are friendly and accommodating. They really care. Parking is convenient, and adorable little community a quick drive from the ocean. The exterior is beautiful.
Note: There were some quirky aspects to the hotel due to its age and perhaps limited budget from ownership. There is no elevator in this historic building and the steps are very steep. The rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. While the hotel is pet friendly, they want $75 a night per pet.
