Nice 3 Bedroom Home Perfect for Access to Central Boston and Cambridge

Home Base Good home base while we explored Boston. Easy to get around and the place was exactly as advertised.

Not a great place for families I will say location was amazing, so close to Boston without the traffic and headache of parking. Also great to have washer/dryer in home. HOWEVER, it was so dirty. There was black hair in the sink and shower. Bath mat was filthy. The toilet takes multiple times to flush even if just #1. Mouse droppings on the top of the hood of the stove. And moths EVERYWHERE. The beds were so noisy every time we rolled over it would wake the baby even with a white noise maker. I even reached out to the owner to let him know how filthy the place was and all he wrote back was “sorry to hear your complaint. The sink was cleaned” Honestly spend your money elsewhere.

Never again Where should I begin… The peeling wallpaper? The fact that there was chips holes in the walls? The fact that there is exposed wires in the ceiling? Or the fact that there were no smoke detectors in the entire property? Or maybe the fact that the back door was partially broken so that we couldn’t secure it probably had to put a chair against the wall? Or maybe the fact that there was only two glasses in the entire unit for six people? Or maybe the fact that the iron didn’t work? Or that the tub leaked? Not even sure if I’m remembering everything but we have pictures to prove all of this. Just prior to going I got announcement VRBO we no longer be allowing this unit for rent, so why did you let us go to this dump? Would love a refund as it is warranted. We emailed the owner the day we got there to ask why there was no TV in the living room like on the website and showed one. Also they showed a lovely back patio with furniture, but there was nothing there, but a deck no furniture. Really really disappointing .

Don't book here. (Somerville, Massachusetts Awful. Dirt in every room. Grease on every surface in kitchen. Misleading description, if not fraudulent. I would suggest waiting to see if VRBO removes this listing.
