Great value. They clean your room every day, which is far more effort than pricier hotels put in these days. I stayed in a single room on the upper floor. It was cozy, but quiet and well-appointed. The house itself was beautiful, with a common kitchen and front room that all the houseguests can share. Breakfast was self-serve and offered a good variety without being extravagant. The house is about three blocks away from Davis Square and the T, which is the perfect distance to quiet down any noise while still remaining convenient. Outstanding service: after my departure, the owners contacted me to let me know I'd accidentally left two of my favorite flannel shirts behind. However, it was too late, and I was already 1,000 miles away. I asked if I could pay their costs to ship the clothes back to me, and they followed through! It was such a kind gesture which they certainly did not have to do. It left me with a lasting impression. I highly recommend the Davis Square Inn and I look forward to returning next year.
