Songpan Kangqiao Hotel

When traveling to Jiuzhaigou, I needed to catch the early morning high-speed train, so I booked this guesthouse near the train station in Songpan, just a few minutes' walk away. It's a converted self-built house, the rooms aren't big, but they're fully equipped, fairly clean, and reasonably priced.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Huanglong. It's very close to the high-speed rail station. The environment was okay, but there was no elevator. They offered luggage assistance, which was a plus. The toilet was a squat toilet and had a persistent odor, and the air conditioning wasn't very effective at heating. A bowl of beef noodles for breakfast was 15 yuan, which was very affordable.

It's only a 400-meter walk from Songpan High-Speed ​​Railway Station, located at the entrance of a quiet village. The landlord is friendly and the flowers at the door are beautiful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided, and you can enjoy delicious and authentic local dishes (earthen hot pot, homemade beef sauce, yak meat, and the delicious mushrooms are a must-try. The cooking skills are excellent). You can also experience the fun of picking mushrooms in the mountains. It's recommended for independent travel. Please note: fresh mushrooms are not recommended to be sent by express delivery. I have tried and failed. Although I received it the next day, most of them were moldy or rotten (it may also be due to high temperatures).

The hotel is very cozy. The owner even sent us to Songpan Station early in the morning. Check-in was also very fast. The entrance was well decorated. However, the air conditioning was not very good and it was a bit cold at night.

Facilities: All the essentials are available. Cleanliness: Overall acceptable, suitable for a one-night stopover. Environment: Nice surroundings. The high-speed rail station is accessible through a bridge arch, eliminating the need for map navigation to take the long, dangerous route or the expressway. Service: Excellent service. The food is quite good, especially the wontons.

This is a hotel that was renovated from a self-built house. There is no elevator, no air conditioning, and it is difficult to comment on the bathroom facilities. Well, in short, I can only say that it is livable.

It is very close to Songpan High-speed Railway Station, about 5-10 minutes' walk away. High cost performance, room facilities include air conditioning, electric blankets, clean bedding, and it is definitely recommended for those who take the train to Songpan Station.
