Village Camping Santa Fortunata - Campogaio

We stayed at the bungalows 3 times before and were always amazed by the cleanliness of them! The view is also spectacular from the camping! Love it there!

Everything was good, only commuting to the location is not so easy because of the public transportation delays and the hut is so small. Other than that the village is great.

Really lovely site with excellent different types of accommodation. Some of them are quite a distance away from reception area but the staff were available with golf carts to pick you up and drop if needed. The bus shuttle is one of the best amenities. Goes every half hour and 2 euro per trip. Drops in a very convenient area. It is possible to walk but it is a very dangerous road with little or no footpaths so I really would not recommend. The reception organised trips which were really good and picked up from the accommodation. Small shop open till 9pm. Lovely staff. There's no actual bar at the site. You can buy some drinks and sit on the benches outside the shop. We ate at the restaurant one night. It was ok. Bit overpriced for what we got. Breakfast was 20 euro per person so we did not avail of this. Can get takeaway pizza which was good. Everything closes at 10pm.

The village is spread out so even in July there weren't lots of people. Two beaches with a long track down and a great pool which was never overcrowded. Sorrento is a half an hour walk by a busy road or a shuttle costing 2euros per person each way. That could add up for a family of four. The restaurant a bit pricey but the takeaway pizza is nice. Overall it's recommended.

Be aware of bed bugs as we had an allergy with them and all of our skin was itching and the skin became red red

The cabin we stayed in was very small for four people. Because the kitchen looked so disgusting, we didn't cook. Overall, the campsite seemed rather dirty and grimy. The location is excellent in this very busy tourist area. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the bay and serves breakfast and other dishes that are certainly good. Perhaps some travelers find the cabin sufficient comfort, but for us, it was completely below par for the price, and we'll remember it as a memory of the park.
