Marhaba Salem Resort - Family Only

Upgraded us to an amazing family suite and decorated all the room amazing fort daughter’s graduation. Really went above and beyond! Food and drink are great, staff lovely. And the pools and beach are fab! We’ve been to the Hard Rock Cafe and the mall and enjoyed them both too! Still a few more days her but can’t wait to return already!

Just back from a very relaxing 2 weeks holiday you need to take pounds Stirling as the hotel does not accept credit cards but gave you a good rate at reception I thought £130 cash up front for tourist tax a bit high we booked our trips through hotel all in ££ had a nice pool view room very small balcony beds and towels changed daily bathroom had shampoo body gel and handwash water pressure very good and very hot small bath with shower over air con ok. food good lots of choice you could use all 3 hotels on complex had to book for evening service and had table allocated all week 2 sittings all hot food taken away and replaced before next service 2 fresh cooking 1 carvery and pasta stations . Never had prob with food very hot . wine ok or local beers all branded drinks eg Bacardi coke juices and water bottles available at all bars to take to room fridge the cleaning ladies always around hotel kept clean . Slight problem with the parasols we went to beach at 7.30 all beds reserved around 50 beach clean and security around lots of sunbeds around fun pool and nice shaded area we stayed around large quiet pool only around 20 large parasols lots of beds and chairs had to get up early as we needed the shade as temp 30 to 35 daily pools salt water . All staff and entertainment teams worked hard to make our holiday even went to the optional drag show in night club well worth 25 dnrs

I was captivated by the people. They create the atmosphere of this place. They are amazing. Other than that, everything was fine: the rooms, the food, the beach, but nothing beats the atmosphere of this place. Best vacation ever

6th visit here in 18 months. Love it more each time i come. Normally stay in the royal, this time the Salem. Room with a view. Always made to feel welcome, Luke part of a family. My friend had an accident while in the hotel. Everyone could not be more attentive and really looked after her. I’d like to thank everyone, you are all so amazing. I can’t remember everyone’s names, but special mentions to Mustapha, Nabil , Salim. Taha, Adem, Slah All the bar staff Hamdi, mejhri, adel, abdessalem and all restaurant staff May guest relations , don’t ever loose this gem, and Ahmed ezzrari on reception Finally the animation team DJ, Alinzo, Will, Billy, Nino, Sam, Joe, kouki, riva, Marco, Rio, houda, Marwen. An unforgettable stay made extraordinary by Hichem (Arbi)! We stayed in october 2035 we had an absolutely amazing stay at the Marhaba Salem, and I felt compelled to write this review to share just how special our experience was—largely due to one incredible member of staff. While the hotel itself is lovely, the absolute highlight of our holiday was our waiter, **Hichem (Arbi)**. I was travelling with my family, including my 7-year-old daughter who has special needs. Travelling can sometimes be stressful, but Hichem completely transformed our holiday. He was utterly fantastic, patient, and deeply supportive with her. He didn't just serve us; he anticipated our every need, showed immense kindness, and went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was happy, comfortable, and included. Hichem has a rare gift—he brings pure joy to the room, makes everyone around him smile, and genuinely cares about the guests. He worked tirelessly, yet nothing was ever too much trouble for him. Thanks to his warmth and exceptional service, my family has come away with the most fantastic, beautiful memories. We truly love seeing him work at this hotel; he is an absolute credit to the Marhaba Salem team. . He is a superstar who goes above and beyond for everyone. Management, please ensure this man gets the massive praise and recognition he deserves. He makes the Marhaba Salem experience truly elite! Arrived late evening just as restaurant about to close so reception advised to call in before checking in. Check in quick and easy. Room number 274. Not the best view as a tree right in front of the window but nonetheless room in central location to both hotel and sister hotel. Room cleaned to a good standard, also bedding of good condition and plenty of extra pillows. The bathroom adequate with shower over bath, prefer a walking shower but ok. Room of a reasonable size along with balcony. We had a 3rd bed in room. The furniture was a little outdated with drawers not closing properly but not really an issue. Had the use of both restaurants generally used sister hotel as better laid out and easier to use when aiding a sight impaired person. Food of good quality and good choice. Used bar on evening and were very well looked after by Mohammed, Zera and Fira all new waiters. The downside to the hotel which let us down were the animation team. Very disappointing compared to 3 years ago. They only approached us twice in 10 days, didn’t let us know what was happening where what entertainment on where and when Hot drinks in paper cups not acceptable in a 4* hotel. The à la carte was a let down this year unfortunately. Special thanks to Alexander around the small pool kept it tidy and clean and spoke every day. Special thanks to Saber who kept us supplied with black tea, one sugar with lemon in a proper cup. Special thanks to Sabhir morning breakfast. Special thanks to Ali and staff in sister restaurant.

Just returned after having a brilliant 11 Days here, A great experience meeting lots of friendly people making this a very social holiday. The Animation Team provided lots of excellent day time activities which we enjoyed taking part in especially the Petanque (french boules) our very first time at playing this fun social activity, also tried archery, Zumba and belly dancing lessons were such fun. The foam party on the beach was amazing, great vibes and music. Food and drinks always a great selection and more than enough to choose from, we had an adorable waiter "Adel" who looked after us every evening. Fun evenings including the Karaoke nights. We booked Quad Biking which was good value and great fun, good tip, advise taking a scarf to cover your face as this does get very dusty. We had a good room on 3rd floor with a view of the pool (room 326) Take £1 coins for tips are very much appreciated. We walked too the Medina in center of Sousse, about 5km from the Hotel, worth getting land train back for around 7TDN. only get on when nearly full or be preppared to sit and wait for quite a while will only pull off once almost full of passengers. We would recommend this Hotel for anyone looking for good social, fun and activity days.

This is second time I've been to this hotel so could say I no a bit about it. The hotel itself is fantastic. With its own private beach and many pools there something for everyone. Entertainment is out of this world. One of the things that really spring to mind is spa massage room with Nadia, Monji, Nessine, Zina Samar There massage is very relaxing, I've had several massages. They also do hot stones and many other treatments. The price is a small amount to pay for the treatment you get. the holiday was great. Food out matches other hotels I've been to

Lovely hotel, we stayed 2 weeks and loved every minute. Definitely recommend
