The Postcard Hideaway, Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, Goa

A beautiful, tucked away resort with attentive staff and a tasty (if limited) menu. Stay was totally spoiled by the staff member that rifled through my bag and stole cash out of my purse. We tucked our rupees (around £75 worth) in my bag on arrival and didn't touch them until arriving at our next hotel, to find them all gone. It was only us and one other guest in the whole place. The hotel investigated and checked lockers but said they found nothing. This was of little use as it could have been taken any time over the 3 days. I also doubt the person would be daft enough to put the money in their locker. The resort refused to admit fault and said we should have used the safe (fair, but not the point when you pay a premium). They did offer some points for other postcard resorts, that we would never be able use, as a consolation. We'd never accuse anyone of theft lightly, and have only done so as we're 100% certain we didn't misplace it. We're not even bothered about the money, it's just really disappointing as we had such a wonderful time there. This may still have been a good review if the hotel had accepted some fault or shown remorse for the actions of their team.

Really beautifully maintained boutique hotel in the forests of South Goa. The staff are incredibly helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Special mention to Sayim and Sarim whose service was outstanding on every level.

What an amazing place to take a break and rest! My family stayed two nights and we had a very comfortable and easy visit. Creighton and his staff were helpful and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. I had a massage and facial with Mukta and it was very good (both her technique and the products used). Since there are only 20 cabins, we never felt like it was crowded anywhere, and you could easily choose to be social or not given how much space there is relative to the number of guests. Granted, we went during off season, so it is likely different at other times of the year. Food was great and the kitchen accommodated dietary preferences readily. Great for kids, too. The room was modern, clean, and well laid out. Overall, 5 stars across the board!

Incompetence at another level, the hotel offers any time checkout! However the night before we leave we are asked to vacate one of the two rooms at 1pm. Head office over booking the hotel so every room was gone. We had come back after starting the holiday here and having a great time. The staff and the food are amazing. Just don't offer anytime checkout and then ask a guest to move during a meal with his family.

The hotel experience was amazing and there was a lot to do. The swimming pool stood out and the spa and the jacuzzi wer also very fun. The food was great and the nature surrounding the place felt amazing. The staff were also awesome and two people who really stood out were Sayim and Simran Sardar. All in all really good experience.

The hotel is located in the middle of south goa in the middle of beautiful vegetation. The staff played a big role in making our stay complete especially Sayid and Simran sardar as they would comply with any of our requests with a smile on their face at all times. all the staff were nice but these were the names that stuck out the most and they helped us make the trip way more easy for us and we are thankful for their presence. overall i recommend going to this hotel and spending time in the goa vegetation and astonishing sites.

A real Gem hidden in between the lush green forest . If you resonate with the words like Serene , Calm , Tranquility this is the place . A Goa which is not Goa ….. and for good reasons . Nature , food , nothingness ( felling of totally Being with yourself ) if this inspires you this is the place you must explore . Value for money indeed . And yes the most important thing the team treats you as a family . A small property (20 cottages but spreader over lavish 20 acres) and everyone in the team will know you and relate to you … Must visit .

This Resort is absolutely opposite of what one imagines about Goa, In the midst of lush green forests of south goa you will find this gem. We stayed in Goa for 6 days and started our trip from first two days in Postcard Hideaway Netravali. We were earlier quite sceptical about it but once we reached there, it was beautiful green gardens superb Hospitality and Amazing People. It has pretty cottages, with huge balcony facing gardens.The interior of the room was surreal, they will provide you Luxury accompanied by sustainability. The idea of Anytime breakfast was new to us and we loved it, as if u can have your breakfast in your own time in your own peace. Every element that we saw there was packed with luxury and experience. People there make you feel like family, always smiling and ready to cater your every need. We also had booked for Naturalist trek in our package, which i must say was incredibly nice. They take you on a personal tour to tiny villages, forests and Netravali waterfall. We sighted ***y rare birds in that forest, our Naturalist was quite informative… Advice - Well if you want to go there hire a taxi or rent a car because you may find it far from ***y places in Goa. The closest beach was Palolem , Agonda, Butterfly beach, they were approximately 35-40 kms away from the resort and if you are coming back at night you may need your own car as forests may look dark at night. This is a place for people who enjoy peaceful place and people taking care of your every need. Great place for self and digital detoxification, they do provide you good speed wifi so you are not completely off but yeah you have lot of time with yourself. There is swimming pool and little recreation room too, you can play board games and read good books. While leaving this place we felt sad and wanted to stay there only for rest of our trip but couldn’t as our bookings were already done prior, we missed this Resort terribly all days while in Goa. The hotel is set in a beautiful serene location surrounded bt the forest . Peaceful and relaxing doesnt do it justice its probably the most relaxing place Ive ever been to but what makes this place outstanding is the staff. Sonia and the team are the friendliest , nicest , happiest guys you could wish to look after you, they go above and beyond all expectations andnothing is too much trouble for them. We will definately be back. Dont come looking for a party time but if you want total relaxation surrounded by nature and beautiful people this is without doubt the place to be in South Goa.
