Great room size and location, but poor 4-star service, torn linens, and safety concerns
Overall Rating: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5)
📍 Location & Convenience
LRT Proximity: The location is fairly above average and very close to the LRT station.
Amenities Nearby: Having an Indomaret convenience store right below the hotel is highly convenient.
Dining & Shopping: It is within an easy walking distance (200m to 1.2km) to a local mall and several nice restaurants.
🛎️ Reception, Check-in & Staff Performance
Rude Reception: The check-in process was handled by a receptionist named Putri, who was incredibly rude, unwelcoming, and lacked basic hospitality.
Delayed Check-in: We arrived at 1:30 PM and were told check-in was at 2:00 PM. The lobby was uncomfortably warm; when we politely mentioned this to Putri, she dismissively stated the AC was on and gave us a rude look. At 2:00 PM, we were told to wait another 10 minutes, and we finally received our keys at 2:15 PM.
Bell Service Delay: Despite the hotel being completely empty and not busy at all, it took 30 minutes for the bellboy to deliver our bags to the room. We were on a tight business schedule for a 3:30 PM supplier meeting and this lack of urgency caused unnecessary stress.
Consistent Bad Attitude: We had to deal with Putri again on our second night regarding a parking issue, and she maintained the exact same rude, unsmiling facial expression.
Unprofessional Staffing: While a few staff members were nice, overall hospitality was severely lacking for a 4-star property. Shockingly, one of the housekeeping staff members delivering our towels appeared to ***************************************.
🛌 Room Quality & Cleanliness
Space & View: The room itself was quite large (66 sqm, as advertised on Trip.com) and offered a very nice view from the 30th floor.
Torn & Dirty Linens: The bed linen was torn upon arrival. On day two, house keeping changed the sheets, but replaced them with another torn linen. It seems the hotel uses damaged linens across the board. Furthermore, the 4 throw pillows on the bed had dirty, black, unwashed covers.
Stinky Toilet & Plumbing Issues: The toilet smelled heavily like a dirty public restroom. While the water pressure and temperature were good, both the shower area and the sink were completely clogged.
Missing In-Room Phone: There was no telephone in the room to contact the front desk or housekeeping. The Google listing phone number was broken. We ultimately had to track down their WhatsApp number, which was the only way to request basic items
.Appliances & Lighting: The hot water dispenser did not work (though we bypassed this by using the microwave). The room utilized harsh, daylight-white bulbs instead of warm, cozy lighting, making the ambiance feel weird.
🍳 Food & Breakfast
Standard Fare: The breakfast was enough to fill your stomach, but offered nothing fancy or noteworthy for a 4-star rating. The service at breakfast was mixed—some staff were helpful, while others completely ignored the guests.
🏊 Amenities (Pool, Jacuzzi & Sauna)
Chilly Indoor Pool: Located on the 21st floor. It looks nice, but because the indoor area has many open-air sections, a constant strong wind blows through. Without sun exposure, the pool water stays freezing cold.
Broken Facilities: The men’s jacuzzi and sauna were completely closed for construction. My wife checked out the ladies' facilities and noted that neither the jacuzzi nor the sauna were fully functional.
⚠️ Atmosphere & Safety Concerns
Dodgy Vibe: The overall environment inside the hotel felt highly unsettling. The crowd walking in and out did not look like standard family or business-oriented travelers. It felt unsafe, strange, and distinctly like a dodgy establishment.
Final Verdict: I would not recommend this hotel for business travelers or families. The large room size does not make up for the severe lack of maintenance, terrible service, and uncomfortable atmosphere.
