Will definitely come back again! First, let's talk about the downsides: the hotel's elevators are incredibly slow, and the staff insisted on waiting until 3 PM for check-in. Everything else was great though. The hotel room was very spacious, and the hand soap smelled absolutely amazing! The hotel breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the view from the hotel room was also quite nice!

This was my first solo trip and it was a great experience. I was given a room with a beautiful view, which made it even more memorable. The sunrise in Melbourne is truly stunning!

Due to the typhoon, I extended my stay for another three days. The front desk staff were very nice. I've stayed here many times before, and besides the supermarket nearby, everything else is just fantastic. I look forward to staying here again next time I'm in Melbourne.

We truly enjoyed our stay! Great service! The location is so close to the Convention Centre. The staff goes over and beyond. The price is very reasonable, plus the amenities we get are absolutely amazing ❤️❤️❤️

Booked a deluxe one-bedroom twin apartment. The room design was nice, but the twin beds were quite narrow. The fridge was empty, not even basic coffee or milk was provided. I had requested a river view and a higher floor to celebrate my daughter's birthday, but not only did the hotel fail to provide it, they didn't even politely explain why. There were also no birthday amenities or greetings. The next day, I called customer service hoping for some milk and also mentioned the birthday issue. She only said "sorry, the room couldn't meet the request" and that for birthdays, they only offer a "sprinkle" (I assume she meant something like a complimentary drink or small gesture, but the original text is a bit unclear here, and it seems like it wasn't provided). In the end, she didn't follow up on it either. This left us with an impression of unfriendliness; the customer service attitude was rather cold and unwelcoming. Compared to other five-star hotels, the service quality here was quite disappointing. Additionally, the hotel has very few facilities apart from the gym. The hotel's location is also a bit inconvenient and it's not easy to hail a taxi. On the positive side, a gentleman working at the lounge downstairs had excellent service, was very polite and friendly, and took great care of guests. The food there was also very good. 👍🏻

The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, but the gym is large and well-equipped. There's also a game room with a table tennis setup (rackets and balls included), a snooker table, and a few arcade machines.

Excellent location and comfortable stay. It's on the South Bank, very close to both the city center and the train station. The price is reasonable, and the surroundings are beautiful. The front desk staff was also very patient. I'll definitely come again.

If you're traveling to Australia, you HAVE to stay here! This accommodation offers much better value for money than anything in the city center. It's really only across one bridge and a single bus stop away from downtown – the distance difference is totally negligible. Plus, it's just a three-minute walk to the DFO outlet mall. The service and environment are top-notch, and the breakfast is delicious! The best part is you can cook your own meals. Sometimes I'm not in the mood for Western food, so being able to cook noodles in my room at night is truly excellent value!

When I booked, I requested a high floor, and they accommodated me accordingly upon check-in. The room was spacious enough for one person, and the view was great. It's not far from DFO, and transportation nearby is convenient. I'm very satisfied. There's also a bar on the 40th floor, but you need to book in advance. Plus, there's a small supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient if you don't want to go to IGA.

The sea view is very very far away, and the staffs gives me a lower floor for the room. Not worth the money.

We had a lovely stay at Oakwood. The facilities were great, especially the gym which was clean and well-equipped. We also had so much fun playing table tennis during our stay, it made the experience even more enjoyable and relaxing. The atmosphere was comfortable, and overall it was a very pleasant stay. We would definitely come back again!

Fantastic! Having a private elevator is a huge plus, especially for introverts like me. (The pictures are just for points and are of Sydney, so you can ignore them, haha!)

Specious and clean room with nice view, very good breakfast, location is acceptable, DFO is just next door, the convenient store is just downstairs but price of goods is not cheap
