Hampton Inn by Hilton Detroit Southfield

Great hotel, newer and great staff.

Check-in was fast. The breakfast had many options, the room was a nice size, relatively modern and well taken care of. My only complaint was the bed. At first I was unsure if it had been used as it had not been well made. Upon inspection it was clean and uninsured just a poorly made bed.

The property was clean and smelled amazing. The pool was clean and relaxing. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was spacious and the pillows were fluffy. Only surprise was the $150 deposit, that was my fault though I didn’t read the fine print. The deposit return was immediate.I would stay there again

My day was great. My room was clean. The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. What I didn’t like. Was that the people across the hall had a dog who started barking at 3 AM in the morning I called management twice and got no answer, and I went downstairs and found someone and told them about it and they did absolutely nothing. They could’ve at least called the room or knocked on the door and said something about the dog barking other than that my day was great. It basically isn’t their fault that one of the patrons dog was barking, but they could’ve handled it as management should have.
