This hotel, which opened in 1861, is a real favorite. It's located in a residential area of Portsmouth, yet not far from the seaside. The only drawback is that it's a bit far from the convenience store and eatery. Otherwise, it's impeccable. The room and hotel decor are particularly striking; they both have a distinctly stylish feel. For breakfast, you choose your desired set from the menu and tell the waiter that I'm ordering a typical full English breakfast, which is quite generous.

The Queens is a Portsmouth institution in and of itself, but after staying here, my husband (who grew up in Portsmouth) and I have found that it's also amazing! The bar, the restaurant and the hotel itself is both super cozy and top tier

Room was clean and very well equipped. but very small for the price. Staff were friendly. Breakfast good but very expensive. Dinner (we attended a pre planned event dinner) was average.

A lovely stay at a really impressive hotel. The hotel is stunning, it’s right on the seafront with free parking. The grandeur of this building is impossible to ignore. Our room had a sea view, it was quite small but perfect for one night. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely book here again. Thank you 😊
