EExplorer2023It is one of the best hotels in Hong Kong I have visited. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. Everything is down to the details. The room is big with a huge bathtub. We ordered room service for breakfast and the food was great. Highly recommended.

VVilMy stay at Hotel ICON in Tsim Sha Tsui was overall a really pleasant experience. The reception staff were attentive and always ready to help, which made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. I also appreciated how accommodating they were with my requests — it definitely added a personalised touch to the stay. The room itself was impressively spacious and very comfortable. It’s not often you get such a generous amount of space in Hong Kong, so that was a huge plus. The bathroom was equally large, which made everything feel even more luxurious. I especially loved the adjustable lighting in the room — being able to customise the brightness to suit your mood was a nice, thoughtful feature. A standout perk was the complimentary minibar. That was such a pleasant surprise and honestly felt like a little bonus treat. The only downside for me was the curtain design. It doesn’t fully close, and unfortunately the gap lets sunlight shine directly onto the bed in the morning. It can be a bit irritating, especially if you’re hoping for a proper lie-in. If the curtain were designed to close in the opposite direction, it would have made a big difference. Overall, a fantastic stay with just a small room for improvement — I’d still happily return.

BBagexiaochenguangThis hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. For anyone coming to Hong Kong looking for a high-quality hotel, this is an absolute must-book. It's clearly a top choice for discerning travelers. Everything from the hardware to the service, the location, and the room view was impeccable. The room size is truly a rare find in Hong Kong, especially the shower room – it's perfect, very spacious with excellent wet/dry separation, and the water heats up quickly with great pressure. The bedding is super comfortable, the blackout curtains are fantastic, and it's so quiet, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The hotel is directly connected to Pacific Place shopping mall, and there's a covered walkway straight to the waterfront convention center. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming to mainland Chinese guests, always smiling and proactively offering thoughtful service – everyone from the doormen to the reception staff, to those at Summer Palace and the breakfast servers, were all fantastic! Next time I'm in Hong Kong, it'll definitely be the Island Shangri-La again!

GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious for Hong Kong standards. The location is excellent – right next to the Hung Hom Ferry Pier, making it incredibly convenient to get to Central and Tsim Sha Tsui. The waterfront scenery is beautiful, and it's so relaxing to sit by the sea. The hotel staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic; they proactively helped with luggage and were quick to respond to any requests. The room had a capsule coffee machine, and the fridge was well-stocked with drinks. Next time I'm in Hong Kong, I'll definitely book a sea-view room.

CCWWAW HK has always been my hotel of choice. I can’t have enough of their Davines Momo (and the Bliss before). The room is spacious and enjoyable, and its amenities and design (not repairs and maintenance though) continue to defy time.  Unfortunately this time, my room’s DND button didn’t work, resulting in endless door knocks from the hotel’s service team, from forgetting to replenish the mini-bar, to servicing my room at whatever unearthly hours that suit them.  With regard to replenishing the mini-bar, I take exception as to me being handed the missing item to replace, rather than the service team taking responsibility to attend to the actual replacement. With this anomaly, out of concern, I started counting the bar items - first time ever in my hotel experience over 50 years! - and found another missing item. Miffed, I rang Service, waited for a fair few minutes, only to be told yes they ran out of that stock but had not noted nor deleted it from their minibar menu. These incidents may appear menial and petty, yet they were the very small annoyances and disturbances that disrupted my otherwise enjoyable stay.  When asked where I could purchase the Chinese New Year goodies the hotel heavily advertised, the lady concierge greeting guests at the hotel lift lobby didn’t have a clue what they were! Sure, she didn’t speak the local language but this was no excuse on the part of the hotel management.  Bathroom taps leaked miserably, creating puddles at the basin areas when used. See pix.  What is concerning to me, however, is the lack of loyalty recognition from Marriott Bonvoy towards its members.  The room upgrade - if and when available, and the free drink under its loyalty programme and the Senior benefits have long been unavailable, even when explicitly requested, despite my being a life time gold (requirement 400 nights + 7 years Gold + status) for umpteenth years.  My booking this time, through Trip.com, drives the message home even louder and clearer. Without prompt and with just an online impersonal booking as a member of the lowest tier, Trip.com instantly provided me with a room upgrade and free drink. On top, the cost of the booking was a fraction cheaper. I hasten to confirm that through this Trip.com booking, I did get a room upgrade with sea view and the free drinks.  At the end of the day, it is not really about the cost saving of a couple of hundred HK$ or so, not the free room upgrade, nor the free drink. It is all about members’ feel good feeling, the recognition for loyalty, the acknowledgment from the establishment. Definitely, definitely, not for the very sour taste in the mouth of this Marriott Bonvoy Life Time Gold.

AAdlabiyunI always stay here when I'm on business trips because it's so convenient. The sea view from the room is absolutely stunning, and the staff are incredibly attentive. The breakfast spread is so vast with so many choices, I can never try everything! I'll definitely be back next time!

TtibetirisCleanliness: The moment I stepped in, there was a fresh, clean scent, which immediately told me the room would be spotless – and it was. The towels and sheets were very comfortable. Facilities: They were decent, not particularly old or worn, and well-maintained. Service: Check-in was quick, and the service has improved a lot over the past few years; it's now polite and appropriate. However, they still require a deposit authorization upon check-in, which seems to be a system-wide policy and not really the hotel's fault. Dining options nearby are very limited; there are almost no proper restaurants for main meals, and breakfast choices are also extremely scarce. I'd recommend taking the subway two stops to Sha Tin city center for more options. It's also very convenient to get a taxi from the stand downstairs for hiking on the MacLehose Trail. I'd definitely choose this hotel again for hiking trips, even if it's a bit pricey, it's worth it.

YYebotulipMy recent stay at the WM Hotel was absolutely delightful, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Their genuine hospitality truly stood out throughout my visit, especially with the thoughtful touch of a birthday balloon as a gift for my celebration – it made the occasion even more special! The room itself was a sanctuary of comfort and style. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. And speaking of views, the hotel's pool area boasted a truly nice view, which added to the serene atmosphere. The hotel's facilities are also top-notch. The dining options offered a fantastic array of delicious choices, and the common areas were elegant and inviting. The location is also a major plus, offering convenient access to local attractions while still providing a peaceful retreat. Overall, the WM Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. It's the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

HHuangajinEmily WongThis is hands down the best hotel I've stayed at in Hong Kong for this price point and type! The hotel is right by the MTR station and Ocean Park, and you can see the park views right from your room. (At night, I could even spot the Sanrio-themed decorations from my room – it was pure bliss!) All the staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting you with a smile and speaking softly. If they saw you approaching the door, they'd practically jog over to open it for you. The hotel's design also showcased thoughtful consideration. As a family-friendly hotel, all the furniture in the room had no sharp corners, including the edges of tables and chairs. I especially loved the curved glass in the bathroom, and there's even an electric curtain, which is great for privacy if you're sharing a room with kids. The room also provided a universal adapter, and the bathroom's makeup mirror even had adjustable color temperature – truly a thoughtful touch. A truly family-friendly hotel isn't just about 'playful' bedsheets, but rather these kinds of detailed touches. I hope the hotel continues to thrive!

HHM7We stayed in this hotel just to take our early morning flight. So we did not explore the location that much. Walking around a bit, not much to do, it is just to relax. The staff were helpful and friendly, helping us with booking morning taxi to the airport. The room was clean. No amenities (such as tooth brush, water, ...) at all. You need to have your own. Overall, It was ok.
