Spa Hotels in Palma de Mallorca

We had already paid £480 online through Trip.com for a double room for 3 nights. However, upon arrival, the hotel demanded an additional €400 simply because a second guest would be staying in the room. What made this even more unreasonable was that I checked the exact same room type on multiple other dates, and the price was identical whether selecting 1 adult or 2 adults. The listing itself also clearly indicated that the room rate included accommodation for 2 adults. Despite this, the hotel still charged an extra €400 at check-in. This additional amount only included breakfast and city tax for the second guest — there was absolutely no room upgrade, no extra bed, and no additional service provided. In fact, the amount charged was so excessive that it was close to the price of booking an entirely separate room. At check-in, the hotel stated that if we refused to pay, the second guest would not be allowed to stay. We tried multiple times to communicate with the hotel in a polite and constructive way, but there was no flexibility or reasonable attempt to resolve the issue. I completely understand paying reasonable extra charges for breakfast or local taxes, but the way this situation was handled felt extremely unfair and poorly communicated in advance. Trip.com customer service was actually very helpful throughout the process and even provided compensation themselves, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the hotel remained unwilling to address the situation fairly. The property itself may be nice, but this experience left us feeling disappointed, uncomfortable, and taken advantage of. Transparency and fairness in pricing are essential, especially for international travelers.

The location is excellent, within 1 km of the main tourist attractions, so you can walk everywhere. The hotel is also new and clean! Perfect for both tourism and business. Highly recommended.

Very good hotel! I am sorry I given 3 for location, in one hand it's lovely location- on the beach with beautiful view. What else can you want? Unfortunately the area is German version of Magaluf:( and we are too old for it lol ! We was hoping to find nice shops and tapas bars instead there was nightclub near and shops with football and sex logo t-shirts. Not hotels fault at all Hotel was lovely and welcoming! They even noticed my birthday with flower and card. Nice touch :) Thank you:) Breakfast was nice. Little pool / chairs in the garden area. Beach was nice but the beach chairs are flat on all the beaches I saw which I haven't seen any other countries and dosent really make sense as u still have to pay for them. Eventually we found 1 beach with nice reclining chairs and ended up paying £60 for 2 and umbrella!! Not sure Palma is for us but the hotel was lovely!

The hotel is actually acceptable. I wouldn't go back for the price, not to mention the service. Excellent breakfast. The best thing about it is José at reception! He's extremely attentive and willing to advise you on everything you need to know about Palma! The only downside is the parking lot, which is full and makes parking a real ordeal. The area is very ugly! All drunk teenagers! Walking around is very unpleasant.

I have mixed emotions about this hotel. We stayed as ‘Level’ guests which means you have use of a separate area that provides a lovely buffet and drinks through most of the day. Separate check in with the lovely Dominique was smooth and efficient.  However, I chose this hotel for its sea view and pool. Whilst there is undeniably a sea view most of it is blocked by an ugly building across a very busy dual carriageway.  The pool area was very insufficient to accommodate the number of guests in the hotel, we had to wait an hour each day for a bed to become vacant which had no shade. This was disappointing as there are many hotels in Palma that are stunning but no pool that were more convenient for the centre. The toilets by the pool were not maintained with hand towels strewn around the floor. All in all not what we expected from a Melia hotel but the Level facilities did go some way to make up for the Other disappointing features.

Nice hotel but reception could do with updating processes as there was always a queue and several times our key wouldn't work. It was nice to have a pool but very small and the jacuzzi bubbles wouldn't ever work. Breakfast was nice but busy abd quite expensive. The location worked well for easy access to the beach and some nice restaurants.the bus to palma is outside which is ideal.

This was a quick trip but the hotel was very nice inside. The room was great for and us and very comfortable with great views over the harbour. There was construction works happening on the outside (front) but that didn’t really matter to us as we were only there for the weekend. The pool was a nice temperature on a hot day and although we couldn’t get a sunbed (arrived at the pool around lunch time) we had a lovely breakfast and the ice cold beer definitely helped us to relax. The nightlife around the hotel can be a little loud due to the number of sports/Irish bars near by and it made the walk home from the city interesting. However the atmosphere was good and we didn’t mind at all. If you had kids then it could be a little intimidating I would think. We also checked in very late (after midnight) which wasn’t a problem at all and we got our room straight away Overall we’d definitely consider staying here again.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and welcoming. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was also very good, with a nice variety and good quality. However, be careful when booking the hotel with children. When we made the booking, it was stated that children stay for free. Naturally, when booking a room for three people, you would expect that everything is included for all three guests. There was no information anywhere that we would need to pay an additional €40 per day for the child. When we ordered breakfast and dinner, no additional information was given that we would need to pay extra for the child. Only two days before our arrival did we receive a message saying that the child’s breakfast and dinner would cost €40 per day. Since we stayed for six nights, this added up to an extra €240, which is not a small amount. Overall, the hotel is very nice, but the information regarding children’s meals is misleading, so please be careful.

Breakfast was fantastic, decent selection and variety, live egg station! Room was quite cozy and functional, although the decor was simple and slightly dated. Staff were friendly and helpful.

My positive experience with Hotel Mirador in Palma, Mallorca began as soon as I entered the lobby. I was greeted warmly at the desk where they solved several problems with my booking which was made by Trip.com. Specifically, for some reason my reservation was in the name of a Trip.com employee and not me! Second although I had booked for two nights with continental breakfast, the reservation was made for one night with lunch and dinner and a SEPARATE reservation was made for one night with no meals. Third, a reservation was made for a ”Family” room instead of a single as I requested. This made my stay more expensive than I planned for. Through all of these difficulties the staff at the Hotel Mirador treated me exceptionally well and made many phone inquires until I was able to get a room.
