The hotel is located on a small street than is very dark in the evening and night does not feel safe at all . The front desk took only 2 hours 30 mintues to bring the tv remote and the . The in room dining was different and with exceptional service brought glasses with 90 minutes . The heater control in the room was controlled by the front desk because they thought we will not be able to control the temperature of our room . At night because the outside temperature was minus 3 degrees the switched the heat to around 35 degrees . So kind of them to make us feel like jaiselmer in kashmir . The hotel management thought giving an option to turn off air conditioning in the room itself would be too mainstream . So we had to open windows and turn on the fan just to counter the sahara wind . As an incing on the cake there were children continuously ringing the bell and running made the waiting for the tv remote and glasses even more exciting , but the children were taken care of after complaining to hotel staff only after 6 times . Over all this hotel was the the nazar battu or kala tika on the overall fabulous kashmir trip .

Hotel is located close to dal lake. I had booked the room for 15k+ for 1 night. It had few non operational sockets and a broken mirror. The heating was centralized and kept the room warm. However the washroom water was not quite hot and was on the warmer side. The gym is very congested and the swimming pool is not temperature controlled. Both myself and my wife got a stomach infection from eating dinner at their restaurant. They were helpful in arranging medicine and extended our checkout by 3 hours. Overall, the experience was not quite pleasant.
