Highly recommend Leopard Corner Lodge. St Lucia is wall to wall guest houses and we only stayed in one but our experience was fabulous. One has to understand this is a living tourist town with many guest houses so while it’s very peaceful overall, there will always be people coming and going from flights, excursions etc plus the monkeys, warthogs and hippos! It was quite hard to choose from the myriad of guest houses but in the end we picked Leopard Corner Lodge for, principally, the location on the edge of town and therefore closer to wildlife. What we ended up loving about the choice was the location but also everything else: the quality and cleanliness of the rooms, the fabulous breakfast, the wonderful staff but the real jewel in the crown is the manager Anna. It’s rare to find someone so invested and committed to looking after all guests 24/7 and when it’s a location where guests are engaging in multiple activities and seeking guidance for all these constantly, that’s s relentless task! Anna went above and beyond for us in our 4 night stay constantly…always with a smile and always on the front foot looking to make our stay better, not just responding to requests; she was exceptional. Whoever owns this guest house, has fallen with their bum in the butter to have Anna running their team. The only improvements we would suggest would be more storage space. As a family of 3 staying in Eland Room we really could have done with some more shelving/drawers and the shower would benefit from being enclosed to avoid the bathroom floor getting wet.
