Great location, to walk everywhere. free safe parking. Food was quality, the shower in the room was amazing. Great stay thank you.

Great hotel, lovely staff and atmosphere. Nice room, clean and spacious

Small bin needed at breakfast selection table for cereal packets. Access for bath mats not obvious in bathroom. Window frames need painting. And my most popular complaint after staying in hotels for over 30 years, why not offer the best available room to customer at time of check in. Point this out, ie sir/madam I'm giving you the best room available, which would be appreciated. At my check in I was given a noisy room over kitchens, which was then upgraded after i pointed this out, inconvenient after travelling over 7 hours. Save time, inconvenience, by offering your worst rooms last to customers. Your reply would be appreciated, thank you.

Another lovely stay with fabulous breakfast. The rooms / bathrooms could do with an update but the public areas and restaurant are lovely.

Loved visiting Stafford and this hotel is beautifully situated in the centre with complimentary parking for hotel guests. The parking is right behind the hotel and there is a helpful video on their website with directions. The hotel is perfect. Our double room was not massive but had everything we needed was immaculately clean and comfortable. The radio was playing when we arrived with gentle classical music, what a lovely touch. All staff were great, helpful and polite. The hotel is delightfully old fashioned without being stuffy. Breakfast was excellent perfectly cooked and great coffee always a winner. Will definitely stay here again. 5 stars ✨

Massive room with very old squeaky floorboards that add to the charm. Very friendly staff and lovely food. Free parking is a very welcome bonus.

Could not fault our stay. Lovely staff, great room and fantastic breakfast. We can see this being our favourite place to stay, can’t wait to come back. 👍

Very nice hotel and polite helpful staff, was only there for 1 night and didnt use the bar / restaurant due to time but will definitely stay again and use the facilities

Stayed here before and had a nice room. This time the room was far to small for the massive bed, the cupboard that was supposed to be a wardrobe was useless, I’m 5ft 1in and my dresses were too long to hang up! The view from the window was of a fire escape and concrete. No heating in the bathroom. Don’t stay in room 104. Staff were lovely. Food was less than average. The hotel is in a great location in the centre of town. Definitely won’t be back.

Great hotel. Service really good at both check-in and breakfast. Room was really clean and breakfast (included in rate) had quality ingredients; a good selection of hot items on the menu to order, along with a smaller self-serve selection of continental.

A lovely period building. The furnishings were great with some nice little quirky touches ad the food was excellent
