NNick001The place was very clean and the staff were kind, polite, and spoke English well. They explained everything clearly from the beginning and gave me a full tour of the property. There is a dining area, and before taking the elevator, you need to change your shoes. Each guest has a room number and should place their shoes in the matching shoe rack. I recommend adding the hotel’s Line account — they will send all the details there. No key is needed to access the room; everything is done using codes. The room is spacious and has a large locker for storage. The shared bathroom was clean and fully equipped with essentials like a toothbrush and towels (including small ones). There is also a modern laundry area that connects two parts of the building through the same door — it feels like one place, not two. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the BTS station, which is very convenient. The only downside is that the entrance was confusing when I first arrived. The map pin showed a laundromat, but the actual entrance is on the back side of the building. Overall, a great stay. I recommend it.

GGuest UserHi everyone! I’m a foreigner and have been living in Taiwan for three years. In February, I traveled alone to Kaohsiung. After the cold weather in Hsinchu, it was a wonderful decision to stay there. I booked Zola Hotel because it’s within easy reach of the famous pagoda and pond. The hotel offers great hospitality, is perfectly clean, and has modern facilities. There was even a coffee machine in the room. I really enjoyed my stay and, for the first time in Kaohsiung, I slept very well. I’ve stayed at five-star hotels before, but they were less convenient and not as new. The hotel also provides a food area where guests can enjoy free cookies, fruit (bananas and oranges), coffee, tea, and drinking water. Thank you for your outstanding service and hospitality! By the way, luggage storage is available upon request. The receptionists are very nice and friendly, and they speak English very well, so there is no communication barrier. The hotel is just an 8-minute walk from Kaohsiung Arena MRT Station. I will definitely come back again.

AAnonymous UserThe 6F area with the kitchen is awesome! I didn't expect so many things. The place to hang the clothes is very convenient as well. But I was surprised to realize that the solo rooms are in the basement. On the post it on the key, the 1 next to B was written very small and the 4 made me wonder if I was on the 4th floor at first. It got me confused because 4F would have meant an F and not a B (for the basement). Since they do not have a 4th floor, though, it became obvious I had to go down. The elevator doesn't go down there, though. I also heard people use the hairdryer around midnight three nights in a row. The walls/doors are really thin so you can hear it all. I would recommend potentially putting a note to ask guests not to use the hairdryer after 10 or 11PM for other guests? I find it a bit disrespectful but it might be a culture shock (and doesn't impact the service of the place overall, not their fault people do that!) {Of course you can also bring and wear earplugs when you go to sleep so you won't hear your neighbors either.}

GGuest UserThe location is great for transit, eating and shopping. The rooms are ample, nicely decorated, felt new and clean. Breakfast is good and there are complimentary steamed buns, juices, coffee, teas and ice cream available at any hour. Staff are friendly. They speak little or no English, but that’s not a problem with translation apps. Only issues are weak wifi that only worked on the ground floor and not consistently, and the fact that cigarette smoke sometimes travels either through the ventilation system or because the doors don’t close tightly. Sound also travels but guests were discreet so that was not an issue. The hotel isn’t suited for anyone with mobility issues as there is a step to the front door, another to reception and three more to the elevator. No ramps. There is even a step from the bedroom to the bathroom. Very odd. Overall a very good stay.

CChristianWI recently stayed at Ox Suites in the Yancheng district of Kaohsiung, and it was an exceptional experience. Ron and his wife run a fantastic little serviced apartment that’s clean, modern, and minimalist, yet equipped with everything you might need—and more. The apartment was spotless, and the minimalist design made it feel spacious and comfortable. Ron went above and beyond by providing a comprehensive list of things to do in the Yancheng area, which was incredibly helpful. If you only have three nights, like I did, you’ll find plenty to keep you busy just in Yancheng and nearby Cijin. Their recommendations were spot on, and they were always just a message away if I needed anything or had any questions. The location is also a major plus. It’s just a short walk to Yancheng station on the orange line, making it easy to get around. You can easily reach the hotel with just one change of train line from the HSR Station. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back the next time I’m in Kaohsiung. Highly recommended!

Rryoichi yanagawaOur family stayed here. The cute wallpaper was a big hit with the kids, who treated the room like their own playground. The location is excellent, being close to the station, which would be very convenient for longer stays. There are also plenty of shopping malls and laundromats nearby. The only minor downside was that the building's entrance was a bit difficult to find during check-in, but despite that, we'd love to stay again.

薩薩其I was looking for a budget friendly hotel just for a day and this one pops up with high Trip rating, so i booked. The check-in was smooth. They also have parking space which was great. We booked a double bed room for two people. At first the room looks decent, the bathroom was well cleaned and maintained but later we found the bed headrest was very dirty with old stains, the furnitures are also got stains which felt creepy. The linens were clean but had a peculiar smell. Pros: Budget friendly Parking space 4 water bottles provided (usually other gives 2) TV with English channels Refrigerator Better hotel slippers Decent Breakfast Cons: Poorly cleaned bed and furnitures No window No A/C control or remote Towels and Linens with peculiar smell

GGuest UserWe needed a place that accepted check-in late at night near Zuoying Station, so this was the deciding factor for my booking this motel. It took about 10min to walk from the HSR station to the motel. Too bad we don't have a car, because we had a parking space! Check in was easy and our room was spacious... It did smell like old cigarette smoke, but the sheets and bathroom were definitely clean. The floor directly outside of the bathroom was very warped from water damage, but it held up under our feet. The interesting chair was interesting, but not put to use. Breakfast was set outside the room shortly after I rang for it. Very dry sandwich, but edible. I did make use of the teas and coffee provided, much appreciated. It's a functional place.
