Thank you for the proprietress for personally drawing the route map of the attraction. We play according to the route map. The essence of the attraction is easy to play without having to queue for too long and not tired. (It’s just that our trip just happened to meet the gods and not be beautiful), it has nothing to do with the store. The food at the store is also delicious. (When you return to the hotel at the attraction, there are hot meals and soups in front of you. The soup and dishes are fragrant and delicious. The price is not expensive) Our family stayed in the store for 3 nights. This is the best homestay we have stayed in for more than ten years. Yinyue Homestay is worthy of five-star praise.

She made us a great itinerary for the national forest. Freya speak a very good english, mostly get in touch with her via Wechat. Location is perfect to reach the east gate. There are renovations work next door, so consider that will be difficult to sleep after 8:00am. For the priced paid highly recommended.

RRyszard lagowskiDuring my stay in Zhangjiajie, I has to be there during the rainy season, and just a week earlier, the city had been hit by a flood. Fortunately, the hotel owner kept me informed about the current situation, which helped me feel safe and at calm. On my last day, I planned to visit Tianmen Mountain and asked if I could still use my room after returning. Unfortunately, the room had already been booked for the next night. However, the owner kindly offered a great solution: I could leave my backpack in the room, and if I returned before checkout time, I could still use it. If not, the hotel would store my luggage. I was very grateful for this arrangement, although Tianmen Mountain was so breathtaking that I stayed there until 2 p.m. and came back too late to access the room. Still, I was met with a lovely surprise — my bags had been carried down from the sixth floor and were waiting for me at the reception, which made continuing my journey much easier. The room itself wasn’t particularly modern, but it was exceptionally clean, and the staff paid attention to the little things, even providing mosquito repellents, which were especially helpful during that time of year. There was also a very helpful man working at the hotel who spoke excellent English and played a key role in helping me organize my sightseeing. He helped me plan my itinerary in detail, giving me a map on which he marked the exact order of places I should visit, which made exploring the area much easier. On top of that, he also helped me buy the right entrance tickets, advised me on the best options, and even got them at a discounted price. His support and dedication allowed me to fully enjoy the trip, knowing that everything had been well taken care of. It was very pleasent stay! Thank you!

As a solo traveler, this stay took my trip to another level! A special thanks to the owner, who supported me from the moment I arrived. This is honestly the best place I’ve stayed so far. She helped me with everything—from booking tickets to planning my entire trip.
With her proper guidance, I managed to explore all the main attractions within my limited time. Without her help, it would’ve been hard to organize everything so smoothly.
I highly recommend booking your tickets directly through the hotel. She arranged my entrance ticket and an unlimited cable car pass at an affordable price, which also saved a lot of time. I didn’t have to wait in long lines—just a quick face scan and everything worked perfectly!
Whenever I had a question or small problem, she was always available on text with quick and helpful suggestions. The place itself is affordable, clean, and very comfortable.
If you’re visiting Wulingyuan, this place will definitely make your stay easier, happier, and stress-free. Highly recommend it!

SSherlythe hotel basically runs by a family, we really love them all ＜3 they really pour all their heart to give every guests the best services!! especially for the uncle in the front desk, he is the bestt!! he greets us, he explain the recommended routes for visiting the avatar mountain, he helped us bring our suitcases upstairs 🥺 (he lift at least 15kg each on both his left and right hand in one go) he is very strong indeed hahaha we even couldnt do that. we wish we stayed longer here :(. the location is fantastic, it was near the bus stop, the minimart, the restaurant, and we can walk to the east gate of the zjj national park. ahh also, you can ask anything to the lady who runs the wechat account of the hotel. she is an angel, super nice, super helpful, and can speak english!! love them all, thank you for everything!

The host is exceptionally helpful, and helped us book discounted tickets to the National Park as well as guiding us through what routes to take based on the amount of time we had available. He is an extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful man, and we are very grateful for the fantastic service he offered. If I could give more than 10/10, I would. Even gave us a free room upgrade upon arrival. The hotel itself is only a 15-20 minute walk from the East Gate of the park too, and is well positioned within Wulingyuan, being less than a 10 minute walk from the bus station and located on the Main Street, close to all the food options (we recommend Bailu Road for cheap, good local food). The hotel was clean, and free bottled water is offered. Comfortable beds, nice shower and facilities. Overall, a brilliant stay - highly recommended.

CClara M ODespite the communication barrier, the owners were really nice and friendly. Its location is perfect and it is surrounded by a lot of restaurants. Although it said it was smoke friendly, we couldn't smell a thing, which was perfect. The bathroom was big, but it was cold (in february).

The hotel has everything you need: AC, Hot Water, Air Dryer, Towels, Soap, Kettle, Toilet Paper and a good set of furniture. Just miss some more blanket.

Very close to the Zhangjiajie Central Station making it easy to reach the National Park or the Grand Canyon by bus.

EEduarda Carvalho[Parks info below] I'm glad that I checked out this hostel, good value for money. Room was nice and tidy, lots of electricity sources in bed and common area, curtains, hot shower. I shared the 6 beds dorm with just another girl, and you make your own bed. No toilet paper, no free water refill, no light in bed. It's worth the price. If you extend your stay directly in the hostel it's cheaper than the app.
The reception area is more cramped but you can socialize there. Most of the people are Chinese but I also met some foreigners. The guy in the reception speaks English and can give you information, in addition to that I recommend you to do your own research. There are two baby cats playing around, and an adult one.
You can get to the hostel from the west railway station by bus line 17 for 2 yuan - last bus at 8:40pm + 15 minutes walk. Location is close to the main avenue where there's a lot of restaurants, and a 24-hour convenience store close to the corner with this same avenue. There are two night markets in the city, one on the avenue like 10 min distance walking to downtown direction, more local, and another one on the street in front of the tianmen mountain cable car, more touristy. The hostel is 15 minutes walking to the central bus station where you can get the bus to zhangjiajie park and 15-20 to the tianmen mountain cable car station.
[ATTRACTIONS] Zhangjiajie (avatar), tianmen (heaven's gate) and canyon (glass bridge) are 3 different parks in different locations.
The entrance to zhangjiajie gives you access for 4 days. I went the 4 days and enjoyed it very properly. If you're short on time, 2 days will do, but plan it wisely based on your priorities. Gates are 1 hour trip distance from the central bus station - 1h30 at weekends. Also, note that before entering the park with passport and face scan, you need to do an APPOINTMENT for that hour. You usually do it there at the gate, but for a saturday all appointments for that hour were sold out in advance and I had to wait for 45 minutes to go in. Recommended to check in advance especially on weekends.
There are 2 types of tickets you can get: including all cable cars and elevator for unlimited time for 450 yuan; or just the entrance (including only free shuttles) for 215 yuan - you still have the option of buying each transport at the park (75 yuan cablecar one-way, 65 elevator one-way). At first, I had understood that to see the avatar mountains, the ONLY way was through the elevator, so I bought the all-inclusive. Turns out you CAN go by free shuttle + hike + free shuttle if you start in the east gate. My favorite part was the huangshi village.
For tianmen, the entrance is 260 yuan. Choose the route in advance because some sell out fast. Gold advice: go at least one hour or more BEFORE the hour that you have the tickets for. The hour of your ticket just matters before the very last point before boarding the cable car. The line was MASSIVE and it took me 2h30 waiting on a Monday - ended up getting in 2 hours late than my ticket time and couldn't finish the whole loop: took only the red trail and went down to the heaven's gate.
About the Canyon, I can't say much because I decided to skip it and save the 210 yuan ticket - note that this price DOESN'T include the activities, you must pay separately. The package that includes almost* everything is 360 yuan.
Last but not least, if you go to the 72 Wonders, there's also an entrance of 88 yuan. You can go/come back with the bus 17 - same line that serves to the west railway station, last bus 8:40pm.
