MM533497****This hotel nails it on atmosphere, location, and service! The location is absolutely prime, right outside a subway station, making it super convenient to get to shopping areas and attractions. There are also several bus stops within a ten-minute walk, and taxis are always easy to catch.
The ambiance was a real pleasant surprise. The lobby is lush with greenery, almost like a small garden. My room had floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of light, with a view of a small park outside, and it was incredibly quiet at night. The carpeted hallways meant no noise from people walking by. Inside the room, it was spotless and had a really pleasant, subtle fragrance.
The service was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk had my room card ready beforehand and proactively helped me with my luggage. The housekeeping staff did a thorough job every day, replenishing amenities without me even having to ask. At breakfast, the servers were quick to clear plates and even warned guests when hot drinks were running low—attention to detail was a perfect score! Excellent value for money, I'll definitely be staying here again.

GGuest UserThe bed in the room was too soft for my liking, making it uncomfortable to sleep. However, the location is very convenient for getting to Hengqin and Macau. The room itself was relatively clean, though there's still room for improvement. Unfortunately, there was a strong smell of garbage in the first-floor elevator area.

GGuest UserIt is located near a food street so you will never get bored and will have everything you need. What I didn’t like was that there was no sound proofing so it gets noisy when you have noisy neighbors. You can also easily hear the road noises. I couldn’t sleep during my first night so I requested for a room change the next morning - which they accomodated quickly. The front desk is pretty friendly and responsive. The cleaning lady was also quite nice. For some reason the mirror and sink is far away from outside the bathroom. The bathroom is also lacking in lighting.

MM254860****The rooms we booked were all next to each other, not spread out. The soundproofing wasn't exceptional, but nobody was making a racket, so it wasn't an issue. What I liked most was the blackout curtains. After a long day, I slept until 10 AM the next morning, and it was still pitch black inside.

OK, so here is an honest review from someone who stays in a lot of budget hotels. I really wanted to like this hotel because it was cheaper than the others, and it was right across my favorite mall, which is the nicest mall in the Zhuhai (Huafa Shopping Mall) but it just did not work for me.
First of all, the walls were very dirty and was badly in need of repainting; The carpets along the hallway were quite stained; There were also molds everywhere in the corners of the room and near the AC, but honestly, I didn’t mind those details that much.
What I could not live with was the smell of cigarettes that comes and goes INSIDE the room and take note - I do not smoke. When I checked in and entered the room, it was OK but during the night I could barely sleep (or breathe) because it started to smell like someone was smoking near me. I could not explain this at all, so I just thought that maybe there is something wrong with the ventilation system that allowed me to smell smoke coming from the other rooms (because they do allow smoking inside the rooms).
I stayed for one night and decided to check out the next day. Honestly, I don’t understand the higher ratings. There are a lot of hotels in Zhuhai that cost around the same but are a lot better (trust me because I’ve been exploring quite a few) - So you really don’t have to tolerate a thing.

AAnonymous UserA bit tricky to find the place. But the neighboring apartment helped me by talking in Chinese with the owner. When I arrived a Chinese woman took me to the room. The room was not what I had booked. Gave me another room I questioned. But I believe as I got through the night they automatically gave my room to someone else . But everyone was very attentive trying to give the best solution. The issue was that the room was very large and not air conditioned with hot air. This information has to be described with large letters in the app. Because a cold person like me slept in a damp and cold place is very bad. They gave me an extra cover. To alleviate this inconvenience. As it was late I had no way of getting another hotel on a Saturday night. The bed is hard Chinese bed. The room and bathroom were clean. This region is close to shopping grande. And the bus stop too. Since in Zhuhai there is no metro. One night is Ok to stay. Arrive early for check in to avoid inconvenience

AAnonymous UserFacilities: After a long journey, it was incredibly satisfying to lie on the soft bed with the AC on and stream SVT's Nana show!
Environment: The location couldn't be more convenient! It's super easy to go to Xiwan for food, to the Love Post Office or Guan'ao Platform to see the sea, or to Gongbei Qingmao to cross into Macau. Taxis are usually just the starting fare. If you get hungry at night, there are plenty of late-night food options nearby!
Service: The staff, especially the ladies, provided excellent service! When we checked in, our booked single-bed room wasn't ready, so they upgraded us to a twin-bed room for free, which was super comfortable! They also gave us a bunch of guides upon check-in, including recommendations for good restaurants downstairs, haha.
Since we stayed for two nights, on the second day, they even messaged us to ask if we wanted our room cleaned. We figured we'd be leaving the next day anyway, so we didn't bother the cleaning staff with an extra visit.
I would definitely consider staying here again next time I go to Macau for a concert or just to visit!

Hha****Just a few hours' layover at the airport, but what a wonderful experience it was. Clean and hygienic environment, and a local custom where people leave their doors unlocked at night. Nearby, there are charming bubble tea shops and sweet potato stands, not much worse than those at Heyan Yuese. The big banyan tree behind the hotel and the lion dance practice I saw in the evening, all with the kind and friendly owners. It's as if this inn encapsulates the warmth and customs of Guangdong. You stay in a hotel, but you witness life and time itself. If you're transiting or staying overnight at Zhuhai Airport, choose this place without hesitation.

CcalilopezzThis place is in the middle of a tourist village in Zhuhai very close to Chimelong. The hotel’s price was very cheap when we booked it so we didn’t expect much and that came true. They only give you disposable towels, two water bottles, and very flimsy toothbrushes but it’s enough for a weekend adventure where you won’t spend much time in your hotel room.
The restaurants nearby are not that good either. Honestly the best food I had was from the shaxian snacks shop because it’s reliable and you know what you’ll get. The coffee and tea places are overpriced and not very good either. The Lanzhou pulled noodle shop across was also cheap and decent flavors.
The best part is its proximity to the theme parks and music festivals that are hosted there. If you want to explore the rest of Zhuhai though it’s a little far from the downtown area and other tourist attractions.
The worst part? This place doesn’t have an elevator so after a long day of walking around all day you’ll have to finish with an extra challenge but it’s also not too bad since there are only a couple floors (I think 4). Overall, you’re getting what you pay for.
I don’t have any pictures of the inside of the room but honestly it’s small, semi-clean, and nothing fancy at all.

NNanqingbabyThis exterior design is unique among many B&Bs. The large French windows are very spacious and very pleasant to look at. I stayed here for two days and had a very good experience. The B&B also has a car that can pick you up at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. It's so considerate. The housekeeper is always responsive. I will come again next time!
