AAnonymous UserInteresting hotel hidden in a small corner, taken care by an elderly couple. The lady gave us a room tours and explained to us on the house rules as well as the use of the toilets. The pod iteself is interesting and feel clean. There are different setup depending on your objective..a simple night sleep or to game the night away

GGuest UserCons: No locker provided; Not-welcoming receptionist; access card not working; roommate talking to the phone till midnight which was disturbing, earplugs given but ineffective to block noise; room door broken and couldn't lock; toilet was smelly and floor was always wet; some dirt on the table inside my cubicle; see-through blind; the dorm was probably meant for long-term working occupants as there were some weird rules.
Pros: walking distance to Komtar JBCC and CIQ; towel (dirty), toothbrush and earplugs (not useful) were provided; being the most effortable option at time of booking.
This was my first time staying in a capsule hostel. Honestly, it was a mixed and slightly negative experience but for a short rest it is still marginally acceptable.

GGuest UserReceptionist was welcoming and pleasant to talk with, room was decently well maintained (Didn't take pictures) and it felt okay to good for a night's stay. Nearby is Paradigm Mall where the picture was the DipnDip chocolate crepe that I bought, delicious 😋

Vvivian.new90Location: It’s heading towards the highway to North bound. Hence, it is convenient and not too jam to travel around.
Room condition and hotel: Old. Hotel management is doing maintenance to upgrade the hotel. Checked in got the third floor, but the door lock had issue. Had to change room. My first two nights was on the 2nd floor. The desk is positioned far away from the lights. TV not functioning. Then, the toilet got stucked. At first got the housekeeping to deal with it. But it wasn’t successful, hence requested a room change. Moved to the 1st floor on my last night. Everything was okay.
Room comfort: Pillows too soft. Bed comfortable. Neighbours too loud. If you are taking the room facing the main road, it will be noisy.
Cleanliness: The hotel management should really improve. Although they do housekeeping everyday, however, it is done simply, not thorough. But due to the old building, the mouldy smell, pest smell is quite strong. Clean sheets and towels are placed on the floor which is a no no. And, they placed the dirty sheets and towels at the reception area.
Overall: if you’re planning to stay one night for a valuable price, it is worth it.

AAA2191. The hotel is clean and not many people staying probably is because of the location where you need to reach by car.
2. Reception area have a water dispenser which you can refill the drinking water without additional charges.
3. The room is spacious, big and clean. However if your room is facing the main road it will be super noisy, 24/7 noise causes us unable to sleep well.
4. No lift in this hotel, so for heavy luggage traveller need to take note on this.

On the positive side, the hotel is within walking distance of Aeon Shopping Mall, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. There’s also a convenience store right outside, making it easy to grab essentials.
Overall, if you're just looking for a basic, no-frills place to stay in a prime location, JS Hotel could work. However, if you're looking for a more modern or well-maintained experience, you might want to explore other options.
