"The room was quite spacious and had a window. The price was very cheap, just over 600 NTD per night—even more upscale than a backpacker's room! The only downside was that it was a bit of a walk from the MRT station, which might be inconvenient if you're carrying luggage.
I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kaohsiung."

GGuest UserThis hotel definitely deserves a special shout-out! My experience was fantastic right from check-in. For those who enjoy culinary experiences, I highly recommend checking out their 'one night, two meals' package. I loved the ice cream with nachos at the ground floor cafe. The evening snacks and breakfast on the second floor were also delicious. While it might not have the extensive variety of a typical star-rated hotel buffet, it offers a great chance to try various local snacks. Every single braised meat, minced pork, and topping was incredibly flavorful, and I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of a rice cooker so you could serve yourself hot rice. You could really tell that the restaurant staff and managers were genuinely dedicated to service and food quality, constantly moving around and attending to guests.
The room was spotless, and the lighting was much brighter than what you'd typically find in comparable hotels. The bathroom was also more spacious. The only minor drawback was a gap of about 1cm under the room door, which made me think the soundproofing might not be great. However, I wasn't disturbed by any noise from outside during my stay.

DDing AlexFacilities of hotel near top niche conditions, probably due to recent renovation or opening. Room is spacious for two. Services of front desk are helpful. Even took time trying to help our cell phone connection issues. Breakfast, although vegetarian only, is tasty and offered a wide variety of choices. Disappointed is about the noises caused by unruly neigbouring guests late at night.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit old, and there was a slight musty smell upon entering, but it was clean. The room was very spacious and even had a small sitting area. Breakfast was decent, with congee, salad, bread, soup, and two hot dishes (which changed daily). Drinks included milk, coffee, orange juice, and various tea bags. The hotel thoughtfully opened up the breakfast area for guests to chat, relax, or pack their luggage. The staff were also very kind and friendly. Overall, it was a good stay.

CChanYu 陳瑜4-ppl family room only provides 2 door-key-cards. Talked to the manager so each of us could have door-key-card. The answer: it is a 2-door-key-card policy for all room types & advised to drop the door-key-card at the receptionist when family members in-out the hotel. Wow 4-ppl room contributes higher revenue than 2-ppl room to the hotel but receive LESS convenience, instead also put the responsibility to customers using the receptionist so to shuffle the door-key-cards among us?! The hotel replied my Google Map review comment saying 2-door-key policy is to protect customer safety. We provided all names in booking and the hotel copied my passport at the check in. Having these personal information isn't SAFE enough to the hotel? This is not a friendly service policy to bigger group of customers.

GGuest UserWe recently stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a fantastic experience overall. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and processed our check-in with impressive efficiency. Our room was remarkably spacious and spotless, featuring a modern aesthetic and a bed that offered excellent sleep quality.
One of the major highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of fresh local and international options. The location is perfect for exploring the city center on foot, with several great cafes nearby. My only minor complaint was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in the evenings, but it didn’t detract from our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

GGuest UserGreat staying and the location is super. Service is really good…maybe if kids are around certain products are not needed. Some guests really noisy in the early morning around 6.30 to 7; but that can happen. Really recommended
AAnonymous UserHotel Review (Safety Concern):
The hotel provided some small complimentary items like facial masks and instant noodles, which I understand are meant to create a pleasant experience for guests.
However, I personally feel that no small amenities can outweigh a basic safety concern.
The room was generally clean, but the bedding was not very comfortable — the duvet cover did not feel like pure cotton and was less breathable than expected.
More importantly, the bed design is potentially unsafe. The headboard is made of hard wood with sharp, square edges and no cushioning. It is also positioned at a very low height — exactly where your head naturally moves when lying down. I accidentally hit my head quite hard, and I am still feeling pain even now.
I chose not to raise this issue during my stay because I did not want to cause trouble. I understand everyone is working hard, and negative reviews can impact business. However, safety is something that should not be overlooked.
I hope the hotel can take this seriously and consider making improvements. For future guests, please be extra careful when lying down.

AAnonymous Userhotel exceeded expectations with its prime location near attractions and spotless, comfortable rooms featuring plush beds and modern amenities. Friendly staff provided exceptional service, from quick check-ins to helpful recommendations. Breakfast buffet was fresh and varied, while the pool area offered relaxation. Housekeeping kept everything pristine daily. Minor noise from nearby streets, but blackout curtains helped. Great value for families or couples—highly recommend for a hassle-free stay. We’ll return next trip!

CCrabisgood888Overall the hotel was very nice. It was modern. The check in staff was very helpful and at least one person on staff always spoke English. Note that the staff at breakfast were super cute older ladies and they don't speak English.
Pros: Modern design. Newer hotel. Large beds (stayed in a standard quad room). The twin bed rooms were also bigger and nice. The shower was really great. It was super high pressure. Bidet for the toilet. Big bathrooms. You can turn on the vent and dry clothes that you hang to dry. The 13th floor area is nice with snacks through the afternoon and evening and coffee. They provide free sparkling water and regular water for the rooms. Very well designed with great storage since there wasn't much floor space.
Cons: Location wasn't really next to many food areas. There's a Starbucks. You have to walk around 5-10 min, which is fine, but it's not the usual vibes you would imagine having in Taiwan. Unlike Taipei, the city is a sleepy town. A lot of businesses are just randomly closed during work hours and regular business days. There is a 7-11. The night market nearby is small. The breakfast needs a little help. After 2 days, it's the same food over and over. We were there for 7nights, so you can imagine it was a bit tiresome. I hope they can provide more variety. Even the soup only changed once. So 6 breakfasts it was miso soup. 1 breakfast was a corn soup (good, but never came back). Another major con is the hotel has no direct email address, so you can't contact them directly. I had to speak with the Leisure group hotels via FB messenger. They never responded via the Line App.
We chose this hotel because it's newer and had the room arrangements that we needed for our group (12 rooms). Big buses can wait outside for you. You can't make much noise in this hotel. We got warnings every day and that was just when we were hanging out in the lobby waiting for the elevator.
Overall the hotel was good value and great for a soccer team since we had the 13th floor for our team meetings and for hanging out at night.
