Our stay at the Floral Hotel in Wuyuan was lovely and unforgettable . The family that owns and manages the homestay is extremely kind and attentive. As Europeans, we were very disoriented and had lots of requests and doubts. Lily, the daughter of the family, who speaks English, helped us in any possible way and never made us feel as if we were being difficult. Her mother cooks meals with ingredients straight out of her garden and with locally farmed meat. Thanks to her, we tasted the delicious wuyuan cuisine, with homemade recipes that are far from the stereotypical dishes we eat in Europe. I can’t stress enough how beautiful the Homestay is. It is located in a small village which might not be a ticketed scenic area, but it’s extremely charming and authentic. You wake up and walk by the river where women are washing clothes by hand in the water. The village feels frozen in time. The house was built by the family’s grandfather, and is the most exquisite building we have seen throughout our trip in China. Beautifully preserved, and every corner is decorated with taste and attentiveness, even the lighting in the room is carefully curated. We stayed in December, and if you are travelling in winter we recommend the smaller room upstairs. It gets much warmer than the bigger room on the ground floor. The room is a real gem, the bed is very comfortable and the small windows overlook the characteristic roofs of the village. We will always cherish our time spent here, and we will recommend the Homestay to all our friends who will visit China, I’d say it is worth coming to Wuyuan just to stay here.

The hotel is very cleverly designed, and you can see that the owner has put a lot of thought into every detail. The location is very convenient, you can walk directly into the scenic area, the privacy is also very good, and it is very quiet at night. If I come next time, I will stay here again~

This may be my favorurite hotel of all my travels so far. It’s set in an authentic Qing Dynasty building in a beautiful, quiet village. In the evening, the hostess picked us up at the village gate with a lantern, and when we arrived there was tea and a fireplace waiting in the lobby. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the hotel is full of cozy sitting areas, tea tables, and small corners to relax, you really feel immersed in old China. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, as were their house-distilled rice wines. The next morning, the hostess gave us a guided walk through the village and then arranged a driver who turned out to be more of a guide. He took us to several villages and stunning viewpoints for the rest of the day and again the following morning. January is a wonderful time to visit if you come well before Chinese New Year: the area is very quiet, and you get a real sense of everyday local life. It is cold, so dress warmly. The rooms have heaters and heated blankets, but the other areas of the hotel—and in the villages themselves—are unheated. We will definitely come back.

Very nice view, so fun with the little scooter to pick us up at the parking lot bear by to get to the hotel. Nice scenery along the way. Room was very comfortable and spacious. It has huge glass windows over seeing the spectacular surroundings. Location is very close to the cable car to get up to 篁岭scenic area. The owner was super friendly and helpful.

The high-speed rail station is 10 minutes away, only 3 kilometers away from the ancient city of Yannvzhou and Xiangao, and it is super convenient to travel. The log wind is super healing, the room has a projection + a viewing bay window, and it is super comfortable to lie down and watch the green mountains. Including Jiangxi special breakfast, the boss is super enthusiastic, the price is full, you can really come to Wuyuan 🐛

The B&B environment is fantastic, the room was very clean, and it offered great value for money. The bed was really soft and big, making for a comfortable sleep. Most importantly, the landlady was incredibly warm and welcoming! Her service was outstanding; she helped us arrange a car and even dropped us off at the scenic spot. Yesterday, my back was hurting and I wanted to buy some pain relief plaster, and the owner accompanied me to get it (even though it was very cold outside). I highly recommend this place! Even though we only stayed one night, I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel is very conspicuous at the traffic light intersection, and parking is very convenient at the door. The beautiful reception lady was very friendly. When I entered the door, I asked if I wanted to drink Tremella soup. I was full from the buffet that day, otherwise I really wanted to have a bowl to moisten my throat. The internal environment is clean and fresh, and the Xiaodu voice smart room was upgraded for free. The children were also very happy!
