GGuest UserThe hotel's environment, hygiene, and service were all excellent, and the views were absolutely stunning. Its location is perfect, right near the halfway guesthouses for the Tiger Leaping Gorge trek. It's a quiet spot with beautiful scenery, ideal for both relaxation and those embarking on the high-road trek. The hotel's trekking shuttle service is super convenient; no matter where you end up, the owner arranges a car to pick you up and take you back to the hotel, which is incredibly friendly for hikers. The restaurant's food was also delicious and tasty.
The owner is very chatty, witty, and humorous, showing genuine care for every guest, making you feel completely at home. I'm so glad my child and I chose Yachajiao Manor for our stay during our Tiger Leaping Gorge trek.

GGuest UserThe overall experience staying here was lovely! The owners very kindly offered to pick us up and drop us off at the train station on our final day of our stay. The accommodation was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and very conveniently located within the old town. However because the accommodation is located at the top of a little hill, accessibility may be a challenge. The walls may be a little thin for light sleepers, but aside from that we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend it!

This guesthouse is perfectly located right next to the East Gate of Dukezong Ancient City, making it super convenient to explore the old town on foot. The courtyard has a lovely, elegant feel with a strong ******* style. Our room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, and both our elderly parents and the kids were very comfortable. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering lots of useful tips for our sightseeing from check-in to check-out. Our whole family was very happy with this stay.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, right across from Dukezong's East Gate, making it super convenient for meals and exploring the old town. There's a spacious parking lot right in front of the hotel. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and proactively upgraded me to a family room. The room was very spacious and clean, with double sinks and even disposable face towels. I had an excellent rest, and the breakfast spread was also generous. When checking out, the front desk even gave me a small gift. I was too busy unpacking when I checked in to take photos, so these pictures were just snapped quickly as I was about to leave, a bit messy. All in all, after driving all this way, this hotel absolutely deserves a five-star review! 👍

The room was spotlessly clean, no strange smells, and the bedding was comfortable, so I got a great night's sleep. The host was incredibly genuine and patiently answered all my questions, unlike some places where they're unresponsive. Overall, it felt very cozy, just like staying at a relative's house – none of that stiff hotel feeling. The price was also reasonable, offering great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area, genuinely recommend it to everyone.

TTrang161289Hotel is clean and especially staffs are very supportive. They picked up and dropped off me at train station. Carried our stuffs(2 luggages and 2 bags) to 3rd floor. They invited us warm tea and introduced some local restaurants. They also changed big heat fan for us.
Hotel is at good location, 15mins walking to Dukezong east gate and easy to catch bus to Balagezong and Potatso national park.
There are near yak beef hot pot restaurant, kangpung chicken hot pot restaurant….
Breakfast is same like another: corn, egg, sweet potato, porridge, noodle….
Highly recommend for everyone!!!

The animals around the property are very friendly and adorable, which made the experience even more special. The hotel staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help whenever needed.
The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. I especially loved the jujube tea at the lobby—it was so tasty and comforting.
The room was very comfortable and made it easy to relax after a long day. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

XXuxutuzhiyaTraveling alone with a big suitcase, I contacted the host a day in advance to ask if I could store my luggage with her, and she readily agreed. She even offered to pick me up and drop me off. I booked a special offer room, and it included breakfast. When I was rushing out in the morning, she reminded me to eat breakfast. If I ever come back to Shangri-La, I'll definitely stay with her again! The guesthouse also has a very Tibetan-style decor, and there's a balcony on the second floor with views of the old town. Plus, out of all my travels, this is one of the few places that provides disposable toilet seat covers!

You can even see the distant snow-capped mountains from the room's hallway! There's an electric blanket on the bed, so you can turn it on for warmth when it's cold, and you won't have to worry about waking up chilly at night. The oxygen concentrator provides 24-hour oxygen. The overall value for money is very high, definitely worth staying here.
