We stayed here with our family and had a truly wonderful experience. The place is very clean, peaceful, and beautifully located close to nature. What touched us the most was how kind and caring the staff and the owner are. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay and always made sure we were comfortable.
During our stay, one of our family members needed to go to the hospital, and the owner and staff personally helped us, even driving us there and taking care of everything. Their support and kindness went far beyond what we expected, and we are deeply grateful.
This is a perfect place for families. There are animals around such as dogs, cats, and birds, which made the experience even more special and joyful for us. The atmosphere feels warm, safe, and welcoming, just like home.
We are very, very happy to have stayed here and truly appreciate everything they did for us. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Shangri-La, especially families looking for a caring and heartfelt place to stay.

11391816****I originally planned to stay for two nights, but since everything was so comfortable, I extended my stay for another three nights, ending up spending my entire Shangri-La trip at this guesthouse.
The hotel sets up a dedicated service group chat, which is incredibly convenient for any requests or questions. I booked a room on the fourth floor, and when we arrived, a young man came down to meet us. Without a word, he helped us carry our two huge suitcases up to the fourth floor – seriously impressive, as I was a bit out of breath just walking up myself.
The service in all aspects was incredibly thoughtful. They provided breakfast, dinner, afternoon tea, and a late-night sweet soup, keeping us well-fed throughout the day. What made it even more enjoyable was the abundance of animals at the hotel: three adorable Alaskan Malamutes, lambs, ponies, and deer. Feeding the animals carrots every day was a lot of fun. The hotel also offers ******* costume photography services. The photos turned out beautifully, and we didn't even have to leave the hotel, with various public areas perfect for amazing shots. This place will definitely be my first choice again next time I visit Shangri-La.

SShuuuuuuI had an unforgettable stay at the Shangri-La Landscape Valley Resort Hotel! The moment I arrived, I was blown away by the breathtaking views—the landscape looks like something out of a painting, and every corner of the resort feels peaceful and rejuvenating.
The owner is truly amazing—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. Their hospitality made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. And I can’t forget to mention their adorable dog, who instantly became the highlight of my mornings and added so much charm to the stay.
Dinner was another standout. The hotel serves a self-pay dinner that was absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, generous portions, and a cozy dining atmosphere that made the meal even better.
Overall, this resort is a perfect blend of stunning scenery, heartfelt hospitality, and great food. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway. I can’t wait to visit again!

AAnonymous UserThis guesthouse experience was absolutely fantastic, two hundred thumbs up for the butler and the proprietress! They upgraded us to a bigger room for free, and even explained the changing landscape of Napahai Lake to us while we watched the stars outside on a very cold night. They were incredibly responsive to every request – extra hangers, water, or a humidifier were brought without a second thought. They were also very enthusiastic about helping us with our luggage during both check-in and check-out, which was a huge plus for us as we had a lot of bags! They even gave us papaya chicken soup to drink at night, which I forgot to photograph, but it was so warming on a winter's night. They also generously invited our chartered driver to have breakfast with us for free.
The guesthouse is right by Napahai Lake, so you can watch the sunrise from your bed – it's absolutely stunning! The room facilities are very complete, with a smart voice system, a projector, a washing machine, a smart toilet, and oxygen supply equipment. It made traveling with my parents very reassuring, and they were also extremely satisfied.

SSherrie Ang Seok GheeHotel interior looks nice, rooms seems a little old but still clean. They provide disposable towels but if you ask, they will give you cotton towels. There was no breakfast provided but just walk out the street you will find a local shop that sells traditional steamed pau, and other dian sin, also porridge and soya bean drink. There is also a supermarket just before you turn into the road of the hotel and you can get your snacks and drinks. Dukezong old town was not that near, 12 - 15 min walk on cobbled road. Stayed there 2 nights, overall okay experience.

They even proactively told us about the hotel's facilities and local dining spots – top marks for attention to detail. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable; I felt the travel fatigue melt away as soon as I lay down. The soundproofing was also excellent, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and all the toiletries were provided, including a powerful hairdryer, which was really convenient.

**Location:** Right by the East Gate of the Old Town, super convenient. We took the No. 16 bus from the high-speed rail station, got off at Old Town Commercial Street, and it was just a few minutes' walk.
**Service:** The host's service was incredibly thoughtful. They prepared afternoon tea in advance with yogurt, butter tea, and pastries. In the evening, there was even a 'goodnight milk' with cookies.
**Facilities:** ******* style, very unique. The room had an oxygen concentrator, humidifier, and a full set of toiletries. They even provided face masks and eye masks. There's also luggage storage.
**Breakfast:** Photos P8 to P16 are all about breakfast – it was very rich and delicious!

I stayed for 2 days and had a wonderful experience. The room even has a fireplace, which is a really nice touch.
