Our vacation in Gili exceeded all expectations, and this amazing hotel is a great credit for this. We found exactly what we were looking for: a quiet, cozy corner where every detail is created for relaxation.
The premier room was made with comfort. The bed is incredibly comfortable and soft. The cleanliness was perfect, which was monitored daily, and the snow-white linen added a sense of homely comfort. A special delight is the bathroom with an open roof — taking a shower under the stars was magical.🛁
The hotel is surrounded by greenery and bright colors, 🌸 behind which you can see the tremulous care of the staff. And right across the street, literally 30 seconds away, begins the best beach with giant sea turtles! Seeing them every day by the shore is priceless.🐢
Furry residents: Cute red cats live on the territory, which create a special atmosphere of home warmth. Be sure to feed them when you stop here! And just behind the hotel there is a local shelter for cats. If you have the opportunity, take some food there or make a small donation. It's a small thing for you, but it's a huge help for them.🐈

This man has a big heart. 💖He was incredibly attentive, helped us solve any issues, and told stories about the island and local life with such love that we got into this place even more. Наш отдых на Гили превзошёл все ожидания, и огромная заслуга в этом — этого удивительного отеля. Мы нашли именно то, что искали: тихий, уютный уголок, где каждая деталь создана для расслабления.
Номер премьер был выполнен с комфортом. Кровать невероятно удобная и мягкая. Чистота идеальная за которой следили ежедневно, а белоснежное бельё добавляло ощущение домашнего уюта. Особый восторг это ванная с открытой крышей — принимать душ под звёздами было волшебно.
Отель утопает в зелени и ярких цветах, за которыми виден трепетный уход персонала. А прямо напротив, буквально в 30 секундах ходьбы, начинается лучший пляж с гигантскими морскими черепахами! Видеть их каждый день у самого берега — бесценно.
Пушистые жители: На территории живут милые рыжие котики, которые создают особую атмосферу домашнего тепла. Обязательно покормите их когда остановитесь здесь! А сразу за отелем находится местный приют для кошек. Если у вас будет возможность, отнесите туда немного корма или сделайте небольшой donation. Для вас это мелочь, а для них — огромная помощь.
Отдельная благодарность — менеджеру Сэму! Этот человек с большим сердцем. Он был невероятно внимателен, помогал решать любые вопросы и с такой любовью рассказывал истории об острове и жизни местных, что мы проникались этим местом ещё больше. We stayed at Pondok Santi Estate in Gili Trawangan for four nights, and from the very first moment, everything exceeded our expectations. The level of service is outstanding — a true 5 out of 5 — and the experience feels much more like a five-star luxury resort rather than a hotel.
Every detail is beautifully designed and perfectly maintained. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping is impeccable, and the staff is attentive without ever being intrusive.
The restaurant experience deserves special praise. The food quality, presentation, and service were consistently excellent. Breakfasts were a highlight of our stay — fresh, delicious, and served in a peaceful, beautiful setting that made every morning feel special.
What truly sets this resort apart is the warmth and professionalism of the team. From the room staff to the restaurant team, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for throughout our stay.
Personally, Gili Trawangan itself is not a destination that impressed me greatly. However, Pondok Santi Estate completely transformed our experience and made the island a place I would happily return to again — specifically because of this resort.
We feel very fortunate to have stayed here and are deeply grateful for such a memorable and high-quality experience. Pondok Santi Estate is a true sanctuary of comfort, elegance, and exceptional hospitality, and we would not hesitate to return.

CCN Man 420We stayed as two couples and had a spectacular time at Kelapa. Ren the manager was ready to help our every need straight away and helped us book bikes and trips. She went as far as confirming we didn't pay too much when we booked others on our own. The villa itself was clean, tidy and exactly what we were looking for. The pool is huge but rather deep for the most part so you'll want to keep an extra eye on children.
The Kelapa boys would come by to clean the place every morning about 10-11am and did an excellent job. They were very polite and made sure not to go into your room to clean without asking first.
I gave one less star on location because it's in the heart of the island where it's much quieter. If you're looking for a night out you'll definitely need a bike or carriage arranged, otherwise you can expect a long walk home.
We originally booked 3 nights and very quickly decided to add on to our stay. Thanks so much Ren and Team for an unforgettable visit!

Cons:
Very average breakfast - one dish + tiny plate of fruits + coffee + 50/50 mixed water & ice juice
Average service - you gonna spend hours with dirty plates if you order food at the swimming pool area and no one will get them away
Open bathroom - since there are only shared bungalows, you will hear every single thing happening in the neighbors bathroom.
Rooms- poor sound isolation between rooms + you can hear guests from the second floor as well.
Amenities - no beach bag, they only provide plastic bags…
No bicycle rent from the hotel- all the bicycles they recommended were in very sad condition, no bell or broken so I had to spend time walking and asking outside and found available ones only 30 minutes away (near harbor).
All in all, the stay was just normal, I do not regret staying here but wouldn’t come again. For 3+ mil/night surely not worth it.

The bathroom is located outside, therefore if you do not like the outdoors, this hotel might not be for you.

There were, however, 2 cockroaches that we killed over the 5D4N of our stay. Apart from that, cleanliness was good.
Breakfast portions were alright. We could order an ala carte item and the rest was buffet style - pancakes, soup, fruits, nasi goreng & mee goreng (fried rice & fried noodles), fruit juices & breakfast cereals.
Breakfast time is 8am-11am. Some of our dives were at 8am so they couldn't make breakfast earlier which is a minus point - Gili Trawangan is a dive island yo.
They have a nice beachfront & provide beach towels for free so u can chill & order food there.
Would be nice if they have taps at the front of our big villa to wash our sandy feet.

Ddaria tedderThis hotel is really great! It offers excellent value for money. It's beachfront, with the beach and boats just across the road. The rooms are decent, although we ended up with one right at the very end of the hotel, so it was quite a walk to get there, but that wasn't a problem. Breakfasts are good, with plenty of options. We only used the large pool, which was fantastic and clean; there's also a deeper pool (2.2m) for diving. The grounds are beautiful, and there are lots of cafes and bars nearby, but we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The prices there were more reasonable than elsewhere. Every evening, there's also a BBQ dinner on the beach for 250k per person (drinks not included), where they grill seafood right in front of you. It was charming. For excursions, we took a 5-hour snorkeling trip around the Gili islands, which we enjoyed. The hotel also offers bike rentals for half a day (25k) and a full day (50k). The bikes were a bit worn from age, but comfortable to ride – we cycled around the entire island on our first day. On the second day, we rented a scooter for 150k for half a day. We didn't ride the horses; we felt sorry for them. Overall, everything was superb! We'll definitely be back to Gili T next year!

GGuest UserDon’t believe the pictures in the advertisement! They don’t reflect reality. The pictures pretend that the hotel is at least a 4 * location. The truth is that this is not the case! It is located at a very poor area in mid of the island where local people burn their trash including plastic. The smell is disgusting it is everywhere, in your room also during night and it burns in your eyes. The hotel is run by a group of very young unprofessional boys and I would like to emphasise that they are really friendly, kind and helpful and try to do their best. They also prepare breakfast in a kitchen which is disgusting! Therefore, I preferred to have breakfast at a proper place even though breakfast was included. See the attached fotos to get an impression what expects you and better choose another hotel if you want to enjoy your holidays. I had to pay 400 € for 3 nights, it is not worth half the price. I tried to get a reimbursement but the hotel didn’t accept. They obviously see the hotel as a cash cow and not a place where their guest should feel comfortable. This was very frustrating! At the end Trip. com accepted my complaint and offered me help. My advice: Choose a hotel at the beach, there are so many!

GGuest UserOne of the best hotels we’ve been to! We we’re very well received, and staff was super friendly. Breakfast was really good and so was the overall menu. The rooms we’re amazing, really big and spacious and we really enjoyed the outdoor bathrooms. Location was good, far from the busy and crowded center area but close enough by bike (10-15min), and you can rent them there. Rentals and bookings are a bit more pricey at the hotel, but definitely reliable and guaranteed! Swimming pool was great, and points for the front beach view! The owner of the hotel was also really friendly and helpful. Overall really good, and we can’t wait to go back!

The hotel itself is very beautiful , in the style of Boho , every detail is thought out and in the hotel all for the ecology , the refusal of plastic , which is also very good .Guys on the respiratory are very kind and responsive , settled me early and also allowed to emigrate a little later , the area in the hotel is small but very picturesque, cleaned every day , towels changed but not every day , but it is not critical , the air conditioners all worked , location 7 minutes from the beach , from the central beaches and to the very center of the island you need to go to big 10 minutes. , big took in the hotel and rent for 50 thousand rupees is 250 rubles a day .
