LvxingdarenxiaowangziThe hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of amenities nearby. The service is also top-notch, and every staff member is very enthusiastic. However, there are a few drawbacks: the bathroom is tiny, the soundproofing in the rooms isn't great, and the breakfast selection is quite limited. If these issues were improved, it would easily be a five-star hotel.

I would like to raise a concern regarding our stay on May 15. On the morning of May 15, we woke up to find that the floor was extremely wet, and we also noticed that a large area of the ceiling was wet, which strongly suggests there may have been a water leak.
This situation was very concerning and made us feel uncomfortable during our stay.
In addition, the air conditioning unit in our room was very noisy, which seriously disturbed our sleep. Our friend staying in another room experienced the same issue with the air-conditioning noise as well.
We will be staying at your hotel again tomorrow, and we are worried that the same problems may happen again. Could you please arrange for your staff to inspect these issues as soon as possible and ensure that our room for the next stay will be in good condition, with no leakage and a quiet air-conditioning unit?
Thank you for your attention and prompt assistance.

Guest UserThis was a wonderful resort with many villas. I couldn't hide my delight at the fact that the beach was right in front of my room as soon as I stepped out. There was a pot of water at the entrance to wash off sand, which was very convenient. The cleaning staff kept the cottage entrance spotless every day. We spent two incredibly satisfying days exploring several pools, relaxing under big trees, participating in aerial activities from the private beach, and watching our children search for sea creatures. We also enjoyed delicious meals every night at their sister grill restaurant, making this a definite place to return to. I'd love to visit again, even next year! By the way, the aerial activities are not recommended for those who get seasick.

Guest UserThe island was beautiful and we really loved the place. However, I was disappointed with the drone policy. Even though I already had a permit, drone flying was only allowed in one specific area, which did not feel safe because it was surrounded by water. It would be better to provide safer and more flexible flying locations for visitors with approved permits.

Rica MaffieIt’s one of my favorite hotels in Cebu, and I’ve stayed here several times.
This time I arrived about an hour before check-in, and the front desk staff kindly prepared a room right away. But, the first room faced another building, so I requested a different one. I was eventually moved to a city-view room. If that room was already available, I wish I had been assigned it from the beginning, as changing rooms with heavy luggage was inconvenient😥
Other than that, the stay was comfortable. One thing to note is that only bath towels are provided, with no face towels.

Guest UserThe hotel is slightly dated, but overall cleanliness is fine. There is a noticeable humid smell when entering the room, and the toilet also has a slight odor. The shower has strong water pressure, which is good, but the water flow from the basin faucet is quite weak. Breakfast offers mostly Filipino dishes, with an egg station and a selection of bread. Night time downstair restaurant you can have your dinner and drinks but they close 10pm .

Solea is great for families but also for line of couple travellers. Location is close good, we stayed first in the palm wing which is to the left of the main hotel. Amenities are as expected aircon, tv fridge and shower. Our views was the back of the hotel so a city view and sea view.
The pools are aimed at kids hit there's a great area with private beach and you can chill there if you're after serenity.
It's pretty decent for value and breakfast is buffet.
Only thing I would say is not good value is having to repay for the inflatable obstacle course if you have kids as that's not free.

Art F.The rooms are excellent, spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom is huge.
On the second day we could not get the staff to clean up the room, for some reason everyone else was a priority. But the rest of the services were great and the staff overall are as welcoming and friendly as Filipinos can be.
The location was the major let down for us as there is no beach in reality, which is what we booked for. There is a tiny area of beach access completely covered with algae and littered with boats. You can only hope on an island tour if you want to spend time in an actual White Sand beach.
Also you have to chance walking with no sidewalk dodging cars if you want to go eat anywhere else.

Anonymous UserLocation wise, this is pefect. You can just take any public transport and you are there when you get off. The staff are very well trained, very nice and very polite. Everything looked very clean and even if the hotel is not that big, they had a badminton/volleball courts. There is enough beach front to walk around. For a Lapu-lapu beach, their beach is clean enough as well. They had plenty of covered lounge couches to enjoy beach front even under the sun. The pool is small but it feels clean.
We paid an extra ₱ 500 to get the ”upgrade” for the ocean view and it was our biggest mistake causing us to lose sleep. Apparently, the room assigned to us was part of an adjoining room and the sound insulation was terrible. We can hear everything happening in the other room and unfortunately the couple in the other room were going at it very loudly (the girl was shouting) until around 5 in the morning. We don't recommend the breakfast buffet as well especially if you are paying the extra ₱1,100 for another person. Very few choices, very salty meat dishes and we don't know exactly what caused it but we had a stomachache after breakfast.

Anonymous UserMany staff members are fluent in Japanese, which is a plus. The hotel has a tropical vibe, and the atmosphere is lovely. There were a few shortcomings: no slippers in the room, I forgot my toothbrush, and I wasn't given the beach towel exchange card during check-in, which I was supposed to receive. However, when I contacted them, they addressed these issues. I didn't opt for breakfast, but it seems to be well-known as one of the best among the surrounding hotels.
