CChengzhangEnvironment: The location is really the best in Zhangjiakou. It is close to Qingshui River and has convenient transportation. The hotel's exterior design is very Venetian style.
Hygiene: The room is clean, but the corridor is average and dark.
Facilities: The hotel has been open for many years, and the facilities are a bit old, which is understandable. Overall, it is still an old-fashioned style.
Service: The service is super good. The front desk staff and room service staff are very dedicated.
Overall, I think it will be my No. 1 choice hotel when I go to Zhangjiakou in the future. I have stayed in all the five-star hotels in Zhangjiakou. It ranks first in the city!

MMusaThis is the fourth year I have stayed at Zhangjiakou International Hotel. The hotel's facilities and services are excellent. This time I slept on the buckwheat pillow in the hotel room and I felt it was great. I even bought two to take home. During the stay, the staff decisively changed the room because of the noise problem on the floor. As long as the problem was raised, the staff would help solve it as soon as possible. It was great!

QQueenNatWooTook a trip with the family for my birthday weekend and some family time. The hotel was amazing. Great staff and location was perfect for traveling around the area. They have underground parking and even have a PlayStation near the hotel elevators so you can pay or locate your car. Parking garage elevators are separate from the hotel room elevators. Close to shopping and eateries and the pool was great for doing some laps my son and husband have the pool to theirselves. There were two lifeguards on duty. We took a trip over to the Gate and ate at the restaurant on the second floor. Food was very delicious and the service was top notch. It was a great ending to a relaxing weekend. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely go again.

AAihaopengrenIt turned out to be an InterContinental hotel, and maintained InterContinental's consistent style, with spacious rooms, dry and wet separation, and a lot of automated hardware.
The most noteworthy thing is that there is a 99 block on the underground floor below the hotel, which sells a variety of snacks, including Wuhan hot dry noodles and Chengdu skewers. It is also connected to a department store - Ginza, and you can also walk directly from this block to the Yonghui Supermarket next to the hotel.
In short, it is a convenient place for eating, drinking and having fun. Especially when it is windy and rainy, you will find how wonderful it is to walk through the underground passage!

Llss_522We first visited this hotel in 2021 with our son, who was quite young then. Our main criterion for a hotel was an all-inclusive, one-stop experience – meaning once we were there, all our dining, drinking, and entertainment needs were met!
#Stay Experience
The hotel is located in Huailai, nestled amidst mountains and water, offering fresh air. Its castle-like architecture is incredibly photogenic. It's also conveniently close to numerous attractions, including Yudu Mountain, the Great Wall, Wild Duck Lake, and Longqing Gorge.
The hotel boasts a wealth of family-friendly facilities. There's a small indoor children's playground complete with a ball pit, slides, trampolines, and more. They also have an outdoor children's playground. Activities like the mini-train (60 RMB for two adults and one child) and go-karts (50 RMB for 5 minutes) offer plenty of fun options.
Indoors, there's also a large water park featuring slides of various sizes. They even have a foam party at 4 PM! Please note that two of the larger slides have a height restriction of 1.5 meters. At the water park entrance, you can also rent electric water guns for 1.5 RMB per minute.
This was our second stay here, and the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even upgraded our room this time, and as members, we received two complimentary drink coupons – fantastic!
The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including congee, noodles, wontons, jianbing (which were delicious), roujiamo, duck blood vermicelli soup (also delicious and very generous with ingredients), cold dishes, fruits, bread, and much more. It truly caters to diverse palates.
This hotel is perfectly suited for family trips, offering an absolutely fantastic experience! You can't go wrong bringing your kids here.
The only minor drawback is that the water park and pool relaxation areas have too few lounge chairs and no shelves for belongings, which was a bit inconvenient.
