Nice touch, that’s a strong point to lean into. Here’s a version that brings that out more clearly while keeping your tone: ⸻ Great location just a few minutes up the hill from the old town, genuinely no more than a three minute walk which made it incredibly easy to come and go. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and finished, a modern Ottoman style with lots of whites and natural wood that feels both clean and warm at the same time. Breakfast was a real highlight. A generous spread of local products including cured meats, fresh fruit, Turkish pastries, cereals and madeleines, along with a menu where you can order eggs cooked however you like. You also get one speciality coffee included and unlimited tea and filter coffee, which is a nice touch. What really sets this place apart though is the staff. Every single person we came across was warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly. It never felt forced or overly formal, more like being looked after by people who actually care. By the end of the stay it felt less like a hotel and more like visiting friends, which is rare. The restaurant was not open during our stay, but the setting is lovely and we did stop for coffee and cake as well as breakfast each day, both of which were very good. In the room, the Turkish toiletries were a nice detail and the bedding and towels were clearly high quality and very comfortable. A couple of minor points. Some of the tech feels a bit more for show than function. The wall mounted control displayed the wrong time entirely rather than the current time, and did not seem to properly adjust the temperature. There is also no streaming available on the TV. Nothing major, just worth noting. We stayed in a deluxe room which we did enjoy, although the sloping ceilings were more extreme than expected. I had seen this in photos so it was not a surprise, but next time I would probably choose a room on a lower floor. The area is quiet which is a big plus, although soundproofing between rooms is not perfect and you can hear some muffled noise from next door. All that said, we really loved our stay. It is a stylish, comfortable hotel with outstanding hospitality and an excellent breakfast. When we return to Sarajevo, we would absolutely stay here again.
